Chapter 32 // The one who's at fault

KAMINARI POV

*BEEP*

The sound of constant beeps along with ringing was the first thing I noticed, but it was nothing in comparison to the burning sensation I immediately felt after

I tried to move my limbs and get up but when I did I felt like I was hit by a bulldozer

I tried to open my eyes to see where I was, It worked but it felt odd

Then out of nowhere, I felt something on my left hand

RECOVERY GIRL POV

18 hours ago Kaminari was found unconscious in front of the UA dormitory looking weak and frail with a body temperature of 202

Even I was worried if he was still going to be alive after that, but I did my best to care for him regardless

After a couple hours of treatment, his body temperature lowered down to 156 ( which is still very hot) and his stats were normal

I expected him to be bedridden for at least a week but apparently not since he started waking up and moving

His movements were minimum but his eyes were fully open, I held his hand to catch his attention but he didn't move

"Kami, Kaminari dear, are you feeling better? "

I asked him, his body didn't move but his eyes did as if he was scanning the area

"Denki Dear! Can you hear me? "

I called Aizawa along with Nezu and told them about the situation

Both of them came shortly after

"This is him, he's a bit strange but he's stable"

"Will it be ok to have my class see him? " Aizawa asked, I knew he would ask this

"Sorry but no, not yet, his vitals might be stable but we're not 100℅ sure of what state he's in"

"Alright, thank you for your work recovery girl" nezu said popping out of Aizawa's scarf

"Do you know where he was held captive? " I asked

"Unfortunately no, we're still trying to investigate where but we have no solid leads" Aizawa answered looking at the bedridden boy

"Tho I'm not sure how the public will react when they find out he just showed up at our doorstep too weak to even move a muscle" Nezu said

"Do we have to tell them? Can't we just say he's back in our care" Aizawa asked

"We could but even if we did I'm sure the media will try to dig deeper if they're not satisfied with our answer"
Nezu answered

"What are you gonna do about the kids? I'm sure they're worried" I asked them, the kids from class 1A had been coming here whenever chance they get

"I'll let them know he's ok, thank you for your hard work recovery girl"
said Aizawa

They both left after a while, I still had other students to tend to and since the blonde lad still hasn't moved yet, I had no choice but to leave him for a while

Kaminari POV

it's odd, the ringing stopped, I still hear the beeps but they're bearable, I was in less pain, I still don't know where I am

I slowly sat up and started moving my hands to feel things around me, I first felt where I was laying, it was soft and smooth, very comfortable, it felt like a bed
