Capitulum 7

I’m here standing on the balcony, I am puffing my cigarette while scrolling through my phone. It’s 10 p.m to be exact and I can’t sleep due to many thoughts going through my head as of now. I love the view here and the wind. Suddenly, a familiar girl crossed my mind. Out of my curiosity, I searched for her name.

I clicked her profile and I saw her picture, why do I need to be mean to her?  If there’s one word to describe her is angelic. She loves dogs I can see by her post. She often smiles and I can’t help but distract by her bubbly cheeks, get a grip, Amariah. It's only for a deal, nothing more, I throw my cigarette, siguro matutulog nalang ako.

“Kumusta kayo ni Ciel, nagiging mabait ka ba sa kaniya?” my dad asked me, we’re eating breakfast now himala at nasabayan namin siya, napalunok ako.

“Okay lang po ” Kahit hindi naman.

“Are you sure? Huwag mo siyang pahirapan kas—” biglang nag ring phone niya at agad siyang tumayo.

“I need to go, paalala ko sa‘yo, Amariah, you must take care of her kahit deal lang ‘to.” I nodded, bakit mas nag-aalala pa siya ro’n?

“Good Morning, my best friend!” sabay akbay sa akin ni Reese.

“Where’s Have?” I asked her, she pouted.

“Why naman siya ang hinahanap mo, nandito naman ako.” She pointed herself.

“Stop, you look like a duck.” I said.

“Ang sam—Hi Ciel!” bigla akong lumingon, pero wala naman. I look at her and she’s trying not to laugh.

“HAHAHAHAHAHA! Ikaw ha, Ciel pala ha.” She teased me, I gave her a death glare.

“No.”

“Good morning, Reese.” I heard the familiar voice.

“Speaking of.” Reese whispered on my ears.

“Hi, Ciel! Hindi mo ba babatiin ang best friend ko?” nakita kong nag aalangan siya, she's wearing off shoulder and skirt.

“No need, I need to go.” Sabi ko at umalis na.

“Sabihin mo nga at bakit gano’n nalang pagpapahirap mo kay Ciel?” Haven asked me, we are currently eating our lunch, I look at ‘em.

“Fine, basta huwag kayo mabibigla?” they nodded.

“She’s my girlfriend.” Bakas ang gulat sa mga mukha nila.

“Pero, it's only for a deal.” I added.

“Deal?” I nodded.

“Yes, sabi kasi ni d-dad, it's only for our business kaso 3 months.”

“If it's that's the case, kasama ba pagpapahirap mo?” her question gained my attention.

“Yes, baka dahil doon huminto siya, at siya na ang magsabi sa dad niya na itigil na ‘to, hindi naman kasi ako makaalma.”

“Pero Ams, hindi dahil kaibigan ka namin susuportahan ka na namin sa ginagawa mo, nasasaktan mo na ‘yong tao.” Reese said.

“Ginusto niya, wala akong magagawa.”

“I can't believe it.” Haven said in disappointment.

“Basta, sinasabihan ka lang namin pero gusto mo ba ginagawa mo?” napahinto ako at napaisip.

“Hindi ka makasagot dahil hindi mo gusto or it's only you and your pride?”

“Wala na kana ro’n, let me handle this.”

“Ngayon ka lang namin nakitang ganiyan.”

“Speaking of Ciel.” I heard her.

“Hi,” there she is.

“Hi, Ciel? Ano dala natin?” kahit kailan talaga Reese.

Umupo siya at nilapag ang dala niya.

“Pasta,” she said.

“Ams, that’s your favorite food, right?” Haven said.

“Whatever,” pero paano nalaman ni Ciel na ‘yan ang gusto ko?

“You’re a good cook, Ciel!”

“Eat with silence, Reese.” Haven scold her.

“Okay, I’m sorry.”

“Amariah?” I heard Ciel called me, I didn't answer.

“Here, chocolates and can I take you on a date later?”  she diffident asked me, why would she asked me for a date? The deal really took her seriously.

“Just give it to the others, and about the date? Sure.” What a great liar you are, Amariah, nakita ko malawak ang ngiti niya parang nag niningning pa mga mata niya.

“Talaga? last thing, can I get your account para ma-chat kita later?” I gave her my account at mukhang masaya naman siya, Haven and Reese look at me but they just shook their heads, they know I will not gonna do it.

“Yie, thank you.” She hugs me I was stiffened, ito nanaman ang puso ko, na realize niya kung ano ginawa niya kaya agad siyang lumayo.

“Sorry, do I made you feel uncomfortable ba?” She lowerd her head, nakakahiya mang aminin but sa loob loob ko nagustuhan ko ginawa niya.

“Bye, chat me later nalang.” ‘Yon nalang nasabi ko at umalis.

“Bye, Ams and Have, by the way Amariah, sinasabihan ka namin ah, baka sumobra kana, alam namin kung ano iniisip mo.”

“I don't know, maybe?” I said and shrugged my shoulders.

“Okay fine, bye, see ya!” I nodded.

“How about you, Have?” I asked her.

“Aalis na rin, agree ako kay Reese, baka sumobra kana, ayaw ka lang naman namin magsisi sa huli.” She tap my shoulders, I nodded.

“Yeah, bye.” Sabi ko, umalis na siya at ako rin patungo sa motor ko.

Pagkauwi ko nakita ko ang kambal nasa living room.

“Hi, ate!” bati nila.

“Hello, two cuties!” they giggle.

“Where po si ate Ciel?” napahinto ako sa tanong ni Moon.

“Nasa kanila, bakit siya miss niyo ako hindi?”

“Palagi po tayong magkasama.” Ginulo ko buhok nila at umakyat na sa hagdan.

Pagkapasok ko sa kwarto, agad akong bumagsak sa kama.

Nagising ako at tinignan ang oras, 9 pm!? Tinignan ko ang phone ko at may message requests, ang dami!

Nandito na ako sa loob- 5:50 pm.

Traffic? I’ll wait.

Hey, 7 na, asan kana:((( - 7:00 pm.

Pupunta ka pa ba? :< - 7:50.

Lalamig na ang order - 8:30 pm.

Sana hindi ka nalang pumayag:) - 9 pm.

Nabagsak ko ang phone ko sa kama.

I massage my temple, shit. Hindi na ako nag chat dahil hindi ko rin naman alam kung ano sasabihin ko. Tumayo ako para bumaba.

“Anak, late ka ata nagising, kain kana.” Nakita ko si nanang, bahagya akong ngumiti at pumunta na sa dining room, habang kumakain ako naisip ko ang mga ginawa ko sa kaniya kaya agad akong nawalan ng gana kumain, Amariah, you messed up, big time.
