Lost in the Fog

Izuku's Report

When Izuku walked into class, he knew something was wrong. There was a heavy atmosphere in UA that morning, and what put him on edge was when Nezu presided over their class, instead of Aizawa. That was an immediate red flag, which meant that he was not surprised when the principal explained his presence to them, "I know it has come as a shock to all of us this morning, but Shota Aizawa was attacked by a villain last night."

There were worried whispers, which silenced as the mammal continued: "We do not know where he is, but it is highly likely that he will not be returning anytime soon..." Izuku noted that meant it was likely he was dead... because of what the rat said next: "Kamaya Sensei was with him at the time, and is recovering from her own injuries. Today, I will act as homeroom, and we will find a new teacher to replace him, in the short term, tomorrow."

Iida asked, "Sir, do we know who did this?"
Nezu nodded, "We believe it is a new villain, one who has a distinct appearance, and is related to the villain that he and Kamaya were tracking. You may hear about this on the news eventually, but Hawks and Edgeshot were with them as well. Midnight is the only one who we know has survived."

The blue haired boy was at a loss for words. "I... I see..."
Izuku raised his hand, and Nezu nodded, "Were they after Talbot Grimes?"
Nezu paused, and responded, leading to more class confusion: "Yes. They found traces of him there, but he was long gone. We'll discuss this later."

Izuku nodded, while the rest of class looked at him, confused and worried, but their unease was replaced with excitement as Allmight arrived, ready to start the day.

As the day went on, there were thoughts in the back of everyone's mind, Who is Talbot Grimes? Why was Aizawa after him? How does Izuku Midoriya know him?

However, Bakugo Katsuki wouldn't take this lying down, he was going to go up, and directly ask... or he would've. When he followed that useless nerd, he found that he entered a conference room, with a bunch of teachers.

Even though their voices were quiet and somber, the blond could hear, still. The green haired nerd asked the rat, "So, Midnight is resting due to injuries?"

Nezu sighed, "Mostly mental. Hawks took a hatchet to the head in order to save her."

Hawks is fucking dead?!

Meanwhile, Deku only responded nonchalantly, as if it were a mild annoyance. "Oh. Anna's here. Wonderful."

Anna? Is that a psycho bitch like his whore?

Snipe asked him directly, "Anna? Anything else you know?"

Deku seemed to know this villain. "Her last name isn't known. It wasn't recorded, and isn't useful. Among survivors, she is known as the Huntress. Her main ability is her throwing hatchets. She is deadly accurate with them, and knows how to make them even more effective..."
Toshinori read the report. "Apparently, she took down Hawks with one hatchet."

This new villain took down Hawks with a single attack?!

There was a pause, before Izuku asked, "Were the hatchet heads different?"
Meanwhile, Katsuki was shocked to hear Allmight answer his question. Why would he? Doesn't he know that Deku is Deku?! "Glassy. Glowing a faint red."
Izuku had a musing tone, "I see. So she has access to her most powerful addon. Iridescent head, can down anyone with one hit. I don't know how it would interact with durability or vitality quirks, but the group... Hawks, Edgeshot, Aizawa, Nemuri... a great group for restraining the Blight, but not so much for her. Miss Kamaya's lucky to have escaped. Where were they?"
