Izuku waited in the common room the next morning, and waited for Kirishima to arrive. When the redhead did, he immediately immediately went to him. He was nervous, and the greenette didn't blame him. This is a rather risky procedure. If anything, he hadn't stated the true scale of that risk the previous evening. "When do you want to start?"
Izuku didn't know if he was certain of this. If anything, the greenette wanted to give him the chance to back out. "Well... um... you sure you want to start now?"
"Yeah." He nodded, completely serious. This was the most serious he had ever seen the redhead, "If this will help save the world, I'll do it as soon as possible, so I can be ready."

Izuku blinked, completely surprised by the sudden determination, and the purely selfless motivations. It made him proud to see the caliber of hero in this class, as well as understanding that he was a perfect legacy for Crimson Riot. "That's... really heroic, actually. Very well. Let's get out of the way..."

The two of them arrived at the nurse's office, and Recovery Girl was surprised to see him. However, she did understand why he was there. After all, Midoriya did have to get permission from Nezu to begin... she just didn't expect it to be so soon. After all, there had been no time to discuss the specifics with her, to approve it. "Midoriya... and Kirishima... what a surprise..."
"Can we borrow the side room? I need to perform a... procedure."
"On Kirishima here?" She said, shocked. He was going forward with it, even without consulting with her. It was too far, even if his reasoning was sound. "Absolutely not. Have you cleared this with any other teacher? Nezu doesn't count."
While Kirishima put on an air of confidence, it was clear he didn't quite know either. Izuku, on the other hand, calmly refuted her points. "He volunteered, and there's no time. We need our own knights to fight off the coming darkness." He pushed past the elderly heroine, gently, of course. "If you want to assist, I will not refuse, but this was discussed before. Please do not interfere." There was a coldness to his voice that made both stop for a moment, before Izuku spoke again, "Kirishima, please. I need to do this. We need to."

They just couldn't argue with the pleading hidden behind his eyes. There was a desperation that was unnoticed before, but now... was brought to the foreground. The past few months was taking their toll on him. They didn't try to stop him anymore, and so Izuku led the dyed redhead to a private room. The same room where he healed Midnight.

"What do I need to do?" Kirishima asked, nervous.

Izuku was matter of fact, but nervous. "Stay true to yourself. I will be performing augmentations. You will need to focus on yourself, to anchor your mind and soul to the body I will be giving you. The Entity forces its killers to become stronger and more aggressive based on what it wants, but we both want you to stay you. Whatever happens, stay strong. Please lie on the bed here." He gestured to the hospital bed, and Kirishima nodded, lying onto it.

Deep blue fog flooded the room, and his eyes were heavy...

Izuku waited until he was in deep sleep. First thing he did was dull the pain receptors. Then, he carefully conjured up the necessary materials. To add to the body required the proper things to do so... and he did not want to rely on the Auric cells that Izuku knew made up his body. No ties to the Entity. Not in these knights, or, the chivalrous warriors he wanted them to be. No, he created carbon, and then molded it into flesh and carbon fiber. Carefully, he reforged his bones into carbon fiber, a stronger and more durable material. And half as heavy. However, he knew that alone it could shatter, so Titanium was added as reinforcement against the shatter points. Moving onto the musculature, Izuku added carbon matter to bulk him up so he could effectively move his new bones. However, that made him into a behemoth of a person. His quirk gave enough defense, so he went onto the mind... all he wanted to do was adapt it to the next body, and give faster reflexes... nothing more. So, he hoped that Kirishima was strong enough to resist the possible mental changes...
