she searched through her closet. "i wanna look cute, but not eager."
"then don't wear that top." maddy advised.
"i thought it looked good! i don't really know if i like this body suit, though." cassie complained.
she compared the clothing.
"you'll look good both ways." i said, examining the clothes.
kat laughed at something on her phone.
"what are you looking at?" lexi questioned.
"nothing. just this, uhm, article." kat explained.
"about what?"
"uhm, you know, like, uh, the holocaust."
"oh. cool."
i turned back to cassie, ignoring their conversation.
"you look great." i smiled.
"i wish i had your collarbones." maddy complimented.
"lex?" cassie asked.
"i like it." lexi replied.
the door to cassie's room swung open, revealing her and lexi's mother.
