rue was lighting a cigarette. lexi smiled, and waved as soon as cherry entered.
"hi, guys." cherry said.

"sorry, hi." rue greeted, smoking the cigarette.
"why would jules be in love with nate?" lexi questioned.
"literally. he smells like shit, and he's with maddy." cherry agreed.
"you should listen to me." rue said.
"bennett, the cigarettes are killing me." lexi complained.
"listen! the night of the carnival, she said she wanted to meet up with this guy she met online. he's some fucking jock, he's from a conservative family, and they were talking and texting. they've been talking for weeks!" rue ranted.
