"You boys did so well out there!" said Iris as she gave each of the boys a hug, even Harry which lasted longer than a friendly hug between two friends.

She looked at him for a little bit longer before she let go of him and said, "So now that the tour is over, what's next for you boys, especially since some new singles were released while y'all were on tour" She crossed her arms over her chest as she came alone since Alex wanted to spend some time with his parents before we left again to Los Angeles

"Well, we have been considering taking a hiatus for 18 months after the album is out. We think it would be good to take some time for ourselves, you know," said Louis as he sat down on the couch with Niall.

"At least you all are thinking about your health and your limits, and hopefully, I'll be listening to more music after your hiatus," laughed Iris as she ran her hands through her hair

"So what are you planning on doing after?" Asked niall as he was drinking from a water bottle as he glanced at Iris.

"I'm gonna go to Alex's parent's house to start repacking my suitcase to leave back to Los Angeles," said Iris as he sat down next to Harry on the couch

"Well, that's just a bummer. I thought we could've done something for the last time before we don't see each other for a while," said niall as Harry was so timid, too quiet for Harry

"I know. I'm so sorry, boys, really I am. I wish I could spend more time with you lads," said Iris as she looked at both Niall and Louis, then looked at Harry at last as their gaze held so much tension

"Well, I should be leaving now," said Iris as she was getting up from the couch until Harry finally spoke up

"Can I speak to you in private before you leave?" said Harry as Niall and Louis glanced at each other, then got up and left the room, leaving the two to talk privately.

"Before I speak, you don't have to respond; just listen to what I will say, okay?" Said Harry as Iris looks at him before she nods

"I just want to let this out before it gets too hard to handle, and I didn't want to tell you since it could ruin our friendship, but here it is. I have always thought you were the most beautiful woman I've met, and I have always loved you. But I know you probably don't see me like that, and it's fine."

"honestly...I don't know what to say, but if I wasn't with someone or if you weren't with someone, then this could've worked, but I think the universe has different plans for us both, and nothing could change our friendship," said Iris as she inched closer to Harry as she pulled him into a tight hug as she kisses his cheek

Harry wrapped his arms around her waist, not wanting to let go of her until he felt her start to slip right through his fingers as she gave him the most angelic smile that Iris had always possessed, which instantly breaks his heart before she left him in the room to think about everything.
