"Which one should I take home with me, H?" Asked Iris as she held two different flowers in both of her hands

"These white flowers look nice," said Harry as he looked at all the various flowers and he touched the petals from a pair of white flowers

"You think so? How about these purple flowers?" said Iris as she continued to look at the various flowers that were in display.

"Yes I think so and I have a feeling that Alex would agree with me on this as well the purple ones are pretty too but the white ones match you" said Harry having no clue that Iris's smile falters

"Talking about Alex how is he??" Asked Harry as he glanced at Iris and realized that she wasn't smiling when he brought up Alex's name when she usually does

"Um about Alex, well we broke up," said Iris lowly as she tried to avoid Harry's eye contact as she distracted herself with the flowers in front of her

"And why did you break up?" wondered Harry as he slowly started to wrap his arms around her body in a way to comfort her

"The reason is odd I won't lie" chuckled dryly as she continued to admire the flowers as she had Harry's full attention

"How odd can it be" said Harry as he looked over all her features she slowly looked up with a slight smile

"very odd and it involves you in some sort of way," said Iris as she let out a light laugh as she looked at Harry's eyes he looks at her in confusion

"What do you mean?" Said Harry in utter confusion

"Well would it be weird that I said that I slowly but surely fell to like you Harry in a not-so-friendly way"

That was what iris wanted to say but instead opted for a simple "it's kinda complicated to explain"

Harry was as confused as ever but he still brought her in for a hug as a way to comfort her and to also become closer to her. Iris wrapped her arms around his waist as she smelt his cologne that fogs her mind every time she smells it.

"I'll be here if times get rough, angel" whispered Harry as he pulled away from the hug

"Thanks harry" smiled Iris
