"Really?" she even mouthed.
I gestured her to shut up. Umalis na nga siya at nagpaka-busy din sa phone niya.
"What happened? Hmm?"
"Tired of listening to lectures I guess. How's your day?"
She made kwento na sa mga nangyari sa araw niya. The thing is hindi ako pabor na nag-absent sila tatlo but Jea acted as her attorney. Minsan lang naman daw. Hindi na uulit. Babawi naman sa exams. Like? Yeah. Why did I even say it's okay. God, Freen!
"You only had what? Pizza for the whole day?!"
"Yeap! Iba-iba namang flavors. Kaya okay lang. And milktea! Got to taste like three flavors."
"Rebecca! That's a million calories! Not to mention puro junk foods!"
"Kick boxing after. P-Freen! Isang araw lang naman na puro junkfoods."
"I really doubt 'yan isang araw."
Nita shows me the screen of her phone. It reads. "Cut na! OA ka na! Haha! Kumustahin mo lang. huwag mong pangaralan. Tanga nito."
"P-Freen? Nandiyan ka pa?"
"Huh? Yeah. Yeah. I was just thinking lang about sa seminar.
Pinalo ni Nita ang paa ko. She crosses her arms pa.
"Wait lang, BB. I'm gonna go pee lang."
I cut the call. Binato ko ng pillow si Nita. "What?! Bakit ka namamalo?!"
"Angtanga mo! Don't tell her things like that! Ikaw ba ang nagpapa-comfort? My God Freen! Ikaw ang mag-comfort doon!"
"E sa pagod nga ako. Magagawa ko? She's looks okay naman."
"Let her make kwento lang. Umalis kang tanga. Tapos tanga ka pa rin dito? My God! Hindi ko na alam ang gagawin ko sa'yo!"
"You can't blame me. She's too annoying that night. Anglakas-lakas ng aircon."
"And who's to blame? Sino ba ang nagtampo just because of that sketch?" She checks on her watch. "Call her na. Balik na ako sa room ko. 'Yong sinabi ko ha? Kumustahin lang. Kuwag kang magkwento na stress ka. E bida-bida ka nga kanina. Walanghiya ka. Napahamak pa tuloy pa ako. magpe-present pa tayo ng output. Hirap mong maging kagrupo!"
