You and the Driver grew closer and closer. You spent your days working on cars and your nights cuddled up together, talking about anything and everything.

But despite the happiness you felt with him, there was always a sense of danger looming in the background. The Driver's line of work was dangerous, and you knew that one wrong move could mean the end for both of you.

One night, the Driver came home late, looking more tense than usual.

"What's wrong?" you asked, immediately sensing that something was off.

"It's nothing," he said, but you could tell he was lying.

"Please, tell me," you said, taking his hand in yours.

"I've been asked to do something...something I don't think I can handle on my own," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.

"What is it?" you asked, feeling a sense of dread wash over you.

"It's a job for a dangerous man. He wants me to help him rob a bank," he said, his eyes meeting yours.

Your heart sank at the words. You knew that this was not something you wanted to be involved in. You could see the pain and conflict in the Driver's eyes, and you knew he was struggling with the decision.

"I can't ask you to do this," you said, feeling tears welling up in your eyes.

"I know," he said, pulling you into his arms. "But I have to do this. I have no choice."

You knew he was right. His job was his life, and you couldn't ask him to give it up for you. But the thought of him being hurt or worse, killed, made you sick to your stomach.

"I'll be there with you," you said, knowing that you couldn't let him do this alone.

"No, I can't let you get involved in this," he said, his voice firm.

"But I can't let you do this alone," you said, feeling tears stream down your face.

The Driver looked at you, his eyes softening. "Okay," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.

From that moment on, you were a team. You helped the Driver plan and prepare for the job, knowing that the stakes were high and the risks were great.

The day of the job came, and your nerves were on edge. But the Driver was calm and collected, his focus on the task at hand. You could see the danger and risk in his eyes, but you knew that he was doing what he had to do.

The job went smoothly, and you both managed to escape unscathed. You breathed a sigh of relief as the Driver drove you both home, the adrenaline still pumping through your veins.

As you lay in bed that night, you knew that you had made the right decision. You loved the Driver, and you knew that you would do anything to keep him safe, even if it meant putting yourself in danger.
