Tommy x female reader.

You were taking your daily stroll through the city you always went for. Going on walks a little after midday was your favourite, it was sunny, warm, and vibrant. You loved the hustle and bustle of people running around going back to work after their lunch breaks, or the old wives getting there weekly grocery shopping done.

You had done some light shopping yourself, carrying the few bags back to your small apartment, that you had just recently moved into.

Graduating from med school, with a master's in nursing. You had hoped moving out to Lost Heaven would be a fresh start, with a good paying job and a decent apartment. Of course, your apartment wasn't that 'decent' but it'd do for now.

Taking in the fresh air and warm glare from the summer sun, you smile at a passerby when you're nearly ran over by a man running. You had just narrowly avoided the man as he passed by in a hurry.

You look back at the man confused, as to why he was in such a hurry. Maybe he was late? You shrugged turning to continue your walk when you were then shoved dropping your bags, you squealed knowing you were going down onto the concrete.

With your eyes held shut tightly preparing for the hard landing, you were surprised by the lack of falling and pain from hitting the ground. You open your eyes to see the man who had nearly run you down with his arms held around you tightly catching your fall.

He's handsome.

Was your first thought, looking into his eyes. You were so lost looking at him you hadn't realised you'd been staring until another man had run by yelling.

"Come on Tommy!! He's getting away!" A man with a purple suit on. You frowned at your confusion. His name was Tommy.

Wait. Were they chasing after that guy?

You look back at the man who had already retracted his arms from around you getting ready to run again.

"I'm so sorry miss." He apologized before running off with his friend.

"It's alright." You had mumbled still thinking about his eyes, those beautiful eyes.

He was such an attractive man, you couldn't help but think about him. Even as you picked your groceries up from the ground, chucking the broken eggs in the nearest bin.

That was four weeks ago. It was sad to admit but you still thought of him occasionally, especially when it was a slower day at work. You wondered what he was doing, what he did for work, why he was chasing that man.

Something told you you probably didn't wanna know why he was, but you couldn't help but be curious. You sighed in slight boredom as you did your rounds.

As your shift was coming to an end, you had to sign a few discharge papers and file in a report to the next staff on, so they knew what had happened or if there was any changes towards the patients. You had just finished up grabbing your bag from the break room when Sally, one of the receptionists and your only friend came in.
