Present (Y/n) Pov:

Third Person point of view:

Waking up was going to be the hardest today, she had to prepare herself again the night before

Today was his birthday October 19th, she had a day off since she had to go to her sister house for her newphews birthday party, it wasn't his real birthday
but celebrating her newphews and not even Danny's was going to be hard

Oh how she missed him

She remembers the summer is happend  like the back of her hand

Past (Y/n):

She was walking through the woods of the campus grounds, it's been a while since she went to her old town she visit
Since they got off for a few days maybe she would go visit

While walking she got a call, normally she wouldn't answer but since it was from someone from her town she decided to
"Hello?" She answered "(Y/n)?" The person on the other line questioned "Yes this is she?" The person took a deep breath"I-its Frank." She smiled at who it was "Holy shit, Frank! I-how are you? It's been three years!" "Uh it's okay but, (Y/n)-" He took sighed before continuing, almost like he was trying to keep himself from crying "Danny's dead..." Her smile dropped "W-what?" "I'm sorry..." Tears flowed through her eyes

"He died in a house fire- I'm so sorry." She tool the phone away from her ear, she gasped for air trying to collect herself  but it didn't work
The tears flowed down her cheeks, her hands began to tremble along with her legs which soon gave out

Falling to the ground, (Y/n)'s hands went to her chest "No, no, no,no,no." She cried out

There she was on her way to the funeral, Frank decided to tell her after they had all the plans set up so she didn't have to worry about helping

She sat in the chair closest to the memorial since his body was never recovered from the fire, her face showed no emotion but her eyes told an entire different story.
A story of pain

Frank sat next to her, holding her hand. Danny's mother sat on the other side, she couldn't even look at (Y/n) during her speech, knowing that (Y/n) was next

She got up and walked infront of everyone, the grip on the paper almost making it tear

Taking a deep breathe to stop herself from crying infrong of everyone even more "'Dear Danny, you passed away before I even got say goodbye, before I got to say a proper goodbye-" her voice cracked the lump in her throat that she just swallowed

Caused more sobs to come out "And I'm sorry that I wasn't sad when I left at first, but now that your dead...it hurts more then never being able to remeber voice. I'm sorry that I didn't hug you when I left, but it obvious we both wanted to. I'm sorry'." (Play Sippy Cup by Melanie Martinez)

She looked down then at the memorial "I love you, mi' amor..." She whispered
After everyone left (Y/n) stood outside looking at the memorial, a drink in her hand

"You know he's still going to be dead when your done with the bottle."

She turned to the voice, Danny's mother. "What?" She questioned as his mother walked closer "You think drinking is going to make him come back?"

"Shut up..." She whispered looking down "(Y/n), he dead." Her head snapped up "You don't think I don't fucking know that?! I know he's dead!" She yelled at her

His mom looked down "I was his mom, but I'm letting go so should you." (Y/n) looked dead at her in the eyes "You fucking left him! Of course your gonna let so easily you!"
