Han groaned,"This sounds like shit."

Chan and Changbin looked at each other, a little taken aback.

"Alright then.." Changbin said, clicking away at his laptop

"You guys, we need something fresh.. all of this just sounds the same" Han explained.

"Something fresh?" Chan repeated, a crazy idea was forming in his head.

Immediately, he pulled out the memos you had sent him. Original tracks that you had produced. One of his favourite ones was the soft, airy tune you had produced only days after you had moved out of your abusive parents house.

For you, it symbolised freedom.

For him, it was a reminder of your smile. The soft, happy one where your eyes crinkled up and your cheeks flushed.
The smile that only came for him.

"Listen to this" Chan said, clicking on play.

The other two perked up as the music started.

"This is.. Different" Changbin said, moving his head slowly to the beat

"Exactly! It sounds.. magical." Han stated, his eyes wide. "When did you make this?"

"I didn't, its Y/Ns"

"What?! You never told us your girlfriend was so talented."

Chan pushed his tongue against his cheek, "She's not my girlfriend"

Changbin chuckled, "Yeah you only wish she was"

Han laughed, "Hey but she really has some insane talent. Maybe she could help us out"

"She wants to be an independent artist" Chan said, smiling.

"Why isn't she yet?"

"Well, her father is a huge business tycoon there but he isn't supportive, so he can shut her down pretty quick." A thought suddenly struck Chan, "She should come to Korea to produce!"

"No way, because her boyfriend is only a huge producer in the leading entertainment company in Korea" Han rolled his eyes, "You're dense sometimes."

"Shut up. I am going to talk to her about this." Chan said

"Yeah yeah, okay. Lets go back to this then shall we?"

Calling Channie 🐺🖤.

"Hello?" Chan's raspy voice sent a chill down your spine

"Were you sleeping?" You whispered, not wanting to be too loud

"Y/N?" He muttered, and you realised that he'd picked up without even looking at the caller id.

"Oh no, did i wake you up? Go back to sle-"

"No, it okay." He said, letting out a huge breathe. "I missed you."

You smiled, "I missed you too."

"Why didn't you text all day?" He grumbled.

"Well i did a live, and then i was out the entire day with some friends. Im sorry."

"I dont like it when you dont text me." His voice was soft, sleepy and confused.

You held back laughter, "Im sorry Channie. How was your day?"
