Shrishti grinned as the car came to a stop. Her vacation with her Pappa was about to start. Their vacation was on a hill station near their city. They had to take only three hours of a long drive and father daughter had left their home early in the morning to avoid morning traffic. Both had packed light as they were planning to stay only for the weekend.

'You happy, Pari?', Pappa asked and Shrishti nodded happily before hugging her father sideways. They left the car and started to walk. Her father suddenly asked, 'Want to go walking or by toy train?'

'Toy train, of course!', Shrishti declared with a grin. As if she would miss that chance!

Her father laughed, 'You may be eighteen but in your heart, you are still a child.'

'Yes, Pappa!', Shrishti nodded vigorously.

They booked tickets for them and took the toy train upto the top where all the sight seeing spots and resorts existed. Shrishti had fun taking the toy train and was enamoured by all the views. Shrishti in both of her lives, till now, had gone only abroad or far away cities in the country for trips. This was one of those spots she had not travelled to in her whole life, first or second. So it was a new experience for her.

Once the train reached the top, the duo left the train and headed towards their resort. Shrishti found out that her father had booked them a suite and both had their own rooms. Each room had its own bathroom and her bathroom even had a bath tub and a walk in closet. Her father explained that he wanted the vacation room to be as comfortable as their house for her. She shook her head. Once a doting father, always a doting father!

Shrishti had a shower before joining her father and both headed to the restaurant to eat. They had skipped breakfast to come early. After breakfast, they headed to the sight seeing spots, looking around and having fun till it was lunch time at which point both chose a random restaurant nearby and had a blast eating.

The noon was spent roaming around and then they headed to sunset point to see the sun setting. Her father loved taking photos and kept stopping at random intervals on the way to the point to take photos. First few times, Shrishti waited with him. But her father was so keen on taking the right photo that she got fed up. She told him she was heading up and will wait for him there before she walked away. Her father also waved her off. She chuckled at his antics. It may be annoying but she knew she was thankful for his photo taking hobby because that was how she ended up with numerous photos of her Mumma taken from the time Pappa met Mumma till her Mumma's death.

Shrishti reached the top and stared at the view in front of her. It was beautiful. Shrishti was doubly glad now that her father had a photography as a hobby. The view was so breathtaking that she wanted him to take a photo which she could enlarge and frame and then put it on one of the walls of her room. It would be a treat to wake up to this view, she decided.

'Shrishti', came a voice from behind and she turned to see Sharad standing there. Her eyes widened. What? What was he doing here?

'Sharad!', Shrishti was confused.

'What are you doing here?', he asked her.

It took her a while to compose herself before she could answer. She shrugged, 'Vacationing.'

She turned back to the view, not wanting to talk to him anymore. She had just glad that for once her body was not reacting to his presence with racing heart or clammy hands.

She did not ask him what he was doing here. She was not interested. That chapter of her life was closed.

Just then Shrishti heard footsteps of someone running and heard a person speak, 'There you are! Did you have to walk so fast? One minute I looked away and you were gone! This was ridiculous, Bhai.'
