CHAPTER TEN

Autumn sat in Dewey's office, his leg was bouncing up and down. He was nervous that he was going to get caught. He let his stupidity and anger get the best of him.

If he gets caught, tatum is seriously going to kill him. His stomach felt weird and his hands wouldn't stop shaking. He really hated getting anxiety at the worst moments.

Autumn looked up as the door to the office opened, and sheriff Burke walked in closing the door behind him.

"Where's dewey?" Autumn asked, "he's just outside. I want to ask you some questions if that's alright with you," sheriff Burke told him and Autumn nodded

"Y-yeah, that's fine," he said, bringing up his hand and he started to bite at his skin and nails , it was a habit that he needed to get rid of.

"Nervous?" Sheriff Burke asked, "anxious. You know, kinda happens when people are murdered in front of you," Autumn said

"How are you the only one that survived?" Sheriff Burke asked ,"uh, I don't know. Luck i guess," Autumn shrugged

"Did you see who killed everyone?"sheriff Burke asked, "No. It was dark and I couldn't see much," Autumn replied

"Do..do you think it was the same person who killed Casey and steve?" Autumn asked, "and sarah," sheriff Burke added

"Yeah, and Sarah? Do you think it was them?" Autumn asked , "I don't know yet , can you tell me extacly what happened?" Sheriff Burke asked

"We..we were just hanging out at Bruce place, you know, eating some cookies and chatting when the phone rang and then it just went dark, and then everyone was dead," Autumn told him , it was a shitty explanation but it was the fastest thing he could think of.

"But not you," sheriff Burke said, "huh?"

"Everyone but you were found dead,and gutted and Jordan..."sheriff Burke trailed off

"And Jordan had his uh..you know..cut off ," sheriff Burke added , and Autumn nodded, "yeah, I saw."

"Autumn!" Tatum burst into the office with dewey following closely, "are you hurt?" She asked, cupping his face as she saw blood

"It's not mine. I'm fine," Autumn said, hugging her and she hugged him back ,"are you done questioning my brother? I would like to take him home now," Tatum said

"Yeah, I'm done. You can take your silbings home," sheriff Burke said, looking at dewey before he left the room.

"Are you okay, tum?" Dewey questioned and Autumn nodded, "yeah, I just want to go home,"

"Okay, let's go home,"

Dewey went back to the station after dropping off Tatum and Autumn. Once Tatum closed the door , She turned to Autumn

"What the hell?" She asked, "it wasn't me! I didn't kill them except for Bruce," Autumn told her

"Okay, start from the beginning, and tell me what happened," Tatum told him and Autumn took a deep breath, running a hand through his hair

"Okay, so Bruce and I were just talking and eating chocolate chip cookies and then Bruce said that Jordan was pissed that billy beat him up, so he was going to grab a few of his friends and gang up on billy-" Autumn started explaining

"Billy could've easily kicked all their asses," Tatum interrupted, "yeah, but I couldn't help but worry. So, I went to the front door to go find billy before Jordan does but Jordan was already there with his friends and he pushed me back,"  Autumn took a deep breath

"Steve told him about how I was like during sex and Jordan was jealous and he wanted to...fuck me like steve did ," Autumn told her

"Did he touch you?" Tatum asked, "he only kissed me, but only for like a second before I pushed him back," Autumn replied

"Wait, why was he there in the first place?" Tatum asked ,"Bruce, well, anyway the phone rang, and Bruce picked it up and said it was for Jordan, and Jordan took the phone after a minute and then the lighst went off , and everyone started dying and I killed bruce," Autumn continued explaining

"And then I saw him. He was wearing father death costume. He left when the police showed up," he finished

"It could be the person who killed Casey and steve. Go take a shower before the blood dries," Tatum told him and Autumn nodded before he headed upstairs to take a shower.
