Hiko said and bid Maiko goodbye outside the school gate.

"weird where's Riki ?"

Maiko voiced.

Usually Riki always waiting for her at the school gate to go practice together at his home , but today he is nowhere to be seen.

Riki suddenly appeared from behind which made Maiko startled a bit.

"gosh , can you please at least once be cautious!!"

"if I have heart disease , I would easily passed out whenever I'm with you"

Maiko nagged.

"yeah.."

"but sadly you don't have it so-"

"you really wanted to feel how it is like when my leg landed on your face aren't you?

Maiko growled.

"whatever, let's go we already late to practice"

Riki said while handling Maiko his spare helmet.

"but , why are you wearing a mask ?"

Maiko asked.

"because I wanted to wear it"

Riki only reply shortly and then he proceeded to drove the bike away.

" let's not continue our practice today "

Riki suddenly stated stopping by the skatepark.

"why? isn't you're the one who eagerly wanted to practice and win that competition"

Maiko asked.

"we have eight days more before the competition so it's okay if we take a break for a day or maybe for two days "

Riki explained.

He then take out his portable skateboard from his bag.

"do you want to see something"

Riki chanted from the quarter pipes.

He started to show off his skill in skateboarding to Maiko.

"why he is so good at it"

Maiko gasped.

Even though she hates to admit the fact that Riki's skill in skateboarding is really impressive and amazed her.

"Maiko , do you just wanted to stand there like a rice field people?"

"come on let's give a try"

Riki said and hold his hand out to guide Maiko to get on the skateboard.

"but I'm not good at this"

Maiko frowned.

"you will never know unless you give a try"

"come on let's go"

Maiko give a try to skateboarding and surprisingly she's good at it for the first time.

"wow you're a fast learner "

Riki spit out an unexpected compliment.

"well, look at who you talking to "

Maiko proudly exclaimed.

"this is the first time I've ever saw you smile this bright"

"do you really enjoy this?"

Riki asked while sitting on the ground.

"this unlocked so many memories that burried in my mind for a long time"

"as reward do you want a cup of ramen ?"

"I'll pay for it"

Maiko said while looking at ramen stall near them.

"I want three cups of ramen including the two that you promised me before"

Riki said exitedly waddling his foot.

That's made Maiko chuckled because she finding he is so adorable.

She then gave her backpack to Riki to taking care of it when she go buy the ramen.

"are you going to eat with your mask on?"

"take it off"

Maiko said handling the three cups of ramen that Riki requested earlier.

"oh , suddenly i feel so full "

"I don't think I can eat all of this , I will eat this at home later"

Riki stuttered while trying to making an excuse that was obvious he is trying to hide something.

"don't try to be hilarious Riki"

"I know that you're hungry, just open your mask and eat the ramen, I promise I wouldn't judge you"

"what do you mean , you wouldn't judge me huh?"

Riki questioning Maiko words because he feel a little bit taken aback with it.

"I mean who know if you got a crooked teeth or a bad flu behind it"

"plus ramen will not taste good if it soaked with water for a long time"

Maiko added while blowing up her ramen .

"whatever, we will go home after we finish eating this"

Riki said and rolled his eyes removing his mask while picking one of the ramen cup with his left hand.

"what's wrong with your cheeks Riki?"

Maiko asking curiously because she spotted wounds on Riki's face.

"uh , uhm it's nothing "

"i just got bumped into the door when i wanted to get my skateboard just now".

"but there are two of it , which part did you bumped into?"

"or unless you just went back and forth to bumped the door into each side of your face"

"if that is your conclusion then it is"

Riki shortly respond after cleared his throat and continue to slurps his ramen .

"it's getting late let's go home"

Maiko said.

"I have a good time today , I appreciate your presence so much"

Riki spoke.

"me too"

Maiko quickly replied and dashed into her house.
