I couldn't believe it.I will be moving to America in 2 days.

What about my life here?
What about my friends,Emma?
What about basketball? I have really good team here in school where I am the captain

He really didn't care about me?

Emma,I just finished talk with my dad,and I found out I will be moving to America in 2  fucking days.

She didn't took long to answer

I grabbed my basketball shoes,ball,airpods and went outside.I didn't even look at my dad,I just couldn't.Everything was too much,and I have too little time to think of it.

Basketball was my escape of reality when things got like this.I genuinely enjoyed it,and it distracted me away from the problems

I put on AirPods on,and started shooting,letting out all my anger and stress on the ball

I was outside for 2 hours think,when it started raining.I washed my hair yesterday,and I didn't want it to get all wet,so I went inside.

I opened the door only to find my dad right in front of me

We looked at each other for a minute,completely in silence,but it felt like hours.Until he broke silence

,,Lillie,just hear me out now'' he looked at me with ,,I am sorry'' expression
I was still mad,but I cooled down a little,so I guess I can hear him out
,,Yeah?'' I asked coldly.

,,Look, I know that we both needed to agree on this decision, but I made the decision myself, thinking it was the best, but I was wrong. I had no bad intentions, trust me I wish the best for you, and I thought we could use a new beginning after everything we've been through.I am really sorry for everything'' he sighed

I could hear the pain in his voice.I know he meant every word he said.

I dropped everything on the floor and hugged him tightly

,,I'm sorry that I reacted like that. I should have listened you first,and then say something.Its just that this is all going too fast and I have too little time to process it''

,,Its okay sweetie,I know this is a big change for both of us,but I can assure you that you won't regret it'' He said with a smile as we pulled from the hug
I nodded and gave him a smile
As i started walking to my room I turn around and ask him ,, Which school will I transfer to?''

He took out his phone ,,Wait,I know i wrote its somewhere- Ah,there it is.Its called Nortford Academy,and its in Seattle''

,,Okay.And does it have dorms or I'll stay with you?'' I ask
,,It does have dorms,but you can stay without me if you want'' He says smiling
,,Its okay,I will make new friends if I stay there''
,,Okay,if you change your mind tell me'' He says

,,Thanks dad,good night'' I say

,,Good night sweetie'' He smiled

I took a shower,brushed my hair and teeth,took off my make-up,put on pajamas and jumped on the bed

,,Hmmm, let's see...'' I say while typing on my phone

,,Nortford Academy'' Results showed up and damn,It looked really big and expensive

,,Okay,so its the most expensive school in the country,its great for students blah blah blah.Oh sports sections.It have excellent hockey,football,volleyball,swimming and- YES'' I shouted

,,BASKETBALL TEAM''

if I didn't move to America, I would be a senior and I would finish my last year of school here. It's a bit stupid for me to come in my last year, but who cares,I'm a great student and even better player
I will get along just fine

,,Now lets look at the menu...Okay quesadillas,sandwiches,burgers,burritos...Wait don't tell me they don't have it'' I say scrolling on the big menu looking for my favorite food until I spot it.Chicken nuggets
,,Phew,I got scared for a second'' I say in relief

I searched a little bit more but eventually I got tired,basketball is really exhausting sometimes

I left my phone on the table beside bed,next to a photo of me and my mother.I took it and looked at it for a seconds,thinking about old times when we were happy.Where I was happy
,,I wish you were still with us mom'' I said smiling at photo,tears rolling down my cheeks
I place a kiss on it,left it where it was and went to sleep
