Walking down the stairs I could hear the door opening and my dad greeting Emma's family
With every step further I could feel my heart racing

But I had Andrew by my side and that was enough
As I took another step everyones eyes went straight at me and Andrew
Emma's parents had big grins on their faces while Emma put on fake smile that I wanted to wipe off her face

I walked towards and gave them a big hug
,,It's nice to see you Bertha'' Emma's mom was like my second mom,but in a friendly way.After my mom died she was always there to comfort me

,,Oh my god Lillie you've grown so much!'' She says as she hugs me tight ,,And I can tell you that boy you got is really handsome'' She chuckles
I smile at her and look at Andrew ,,I know, I'm a lucky girl''
,,I think he's the lucky boy'' She taps my shoulder before my dad interrupts us

,,Now that everyone is here we can go and take seats at the table''
Everyone agrees as he shows them the path leaving me and Emma an the back
We both just look at each other, none of us daring to say anything.When I look at her I get nothing but a feeling of disappointment and disgust

I was about to walk away before she stepped in front of me throwing her hair in my face.Smirk playing on her lips as she thought she did something extravagant.She looks down on me one more time before rolling her eyes and making her way towards dining room

She wont get away with this

I follow behind her,and as we get to the door we see that everyone already took their seats
There was three seats left.One next to Andrew, second next to my dad and third next to Tyler

I passed her and of course took seat next to Andrew.Emma stood there a little bit before grin on her face appeared and she started making her way to Tyler. I could see that she was getting on Christine nerves

But in order to sit next to Tyler she had to pass next to me and I took that as a perfect opportunity
As she got closer and closer I slowly put my heel in front of her
She was so full of herself that she didn't even notice until she hit my heel and fell straight down on her face

Everyone gasped but I'm sure almost everyone wanted to laugh
I looked at her gasping ,,Oh my god Emma are you alright?'' I reached out to help her but she pushed me away

She probably wanted to scream her rage out on me but as she saw everyone looking at her she just stood up and gave me dirty look before stumbling to her seat

I glanced at Christine who was secretly grinning snd mouthed ,,Thank you''
I just nodded and smiled at her

After a moments of silence Rosa came in followed by our butlers holding big plates of food ,,So who's ready for my delicious yummy breathtaking dinner''

I finished with my meal long time ago but since our dads are having a great time chatting about work now we have to sit here and listen to their conversations

I look up to see that I'm not the only one dying out of boredom
I turn my head to Andrew who's playing with leftover steak on his plate
He quickly sees me looking at him and chuckles

,,Are you bored too?'' I ask
,,Well, yeah but I'm used to it because my dad is always dragging me to his fancy dinners'' He chuckles

My eyes glance on Emma who's talking to her mom, smiling
