it was a regular friday for me really, nothing new happened. me and max went to our classes then met up for lunch and ate together and now we were in our last class of the day. after school you and max always hung out, either where she wants to go or your own house.
"so maxine, where are we off to today?" i ask, as we leave school
"your house, i wanna see your sister" she said, smiling
"and not to hang out with me? rudeee!" i shouted sarcastically
"you know your my best friend, dont be dumb yn" she explained, knowing i was only joking
best friend, how them words hurt. i wanted to be more then best friends, max. i want to be your boyfriend. i shook my head, ignoring my feelings
"y-yeah yeah i know im joking" i said, awkwardly laughing
"you okay?" she asked, starring into my eyes
"yea, im fine?" i said
"yn, weve been friends for ages now i know your lying." she said, with a dull face
"il tell you later, okay?" i said as we walked into my house
"hey, court!" max shouted at me sister, she was older then me and i hated it
"hey max, how you been today? yn pissing you off as per usual?" she asked
"fuck of courtney" i said scoffing, then grabbing a drink
"suck it, yn." she said, putting the middle finger up to me as she walked off
"oh jesus whats happend between you two the past.. what? 3 days? since i was last here?" max said thinking hardly
"i dunno, shes been dating this douche from our school, i guess hes turned her into more of a dick" i said, as i walked into my room max followed

it was now around 6 and me and max had just been reading comics and playing music. as we usually do when we are at my house.
"so, yn. you gonna tell me what was bothering you before or what?" she questioned
"do you wanna stay over tonight?" i ask, completely ignoring the question
"duhh! let me call my mom and tell her" max got up and used my phone, calling her mom and then telling her she wasnt going to be home tonight, obviously her mom didnt mind, since we had been best friends for ages now.
"okeyyy" i said, smiling at her, she looks so happy
"so, what we gonna do tonight? watch a movie? read comics?" she asked, she was excited. everytime she stayed over, she was always excited. i knew her home life wasnt the best so i always let her stay when she wants or whenever possible
"whatever you want, its up to you." i smiled, knowing what shes gonna pick
"can we read comics? i wanna read yours, theyre better then mine.." she admitted, knowing she never wanted to
"go ahead, pick one." i said, she knew where my comics were kept because she always raided them.
"okayy" she jumped off my bed, going into my cupboard beside my bed and grabbing a wonder woman comic, ofcourse.
"your favourite, ofcourse." i smiled, she got into my bed sitting next to me, cuddling up to me and reading the comic.

it was now 10pm, me and max had just read comics and watched a few movies. we we're currently sat in the living room finishing up beatle juice, she loves that movie more then anything i swear to god.
"ew you two are so gross, take your cuddling to the room." courtney said, going into the kitchen
"courtney, shut the fuck up! the shit you and lev get up to is so worse, plus were just friends! and its fucking freezing so were sharing the blanket! simple shit, dickface." i said, shaking my head
"oh shut it dickwad, you knoe you both have feelings for eachother, i read your diary." she smirked, running off
i got up from the couch, running after her "this is why mom is considering putting you up for adoption! your horrible! your worthless and you deserve shit!" i shouted, practically on a death mission. she reached her room and shut the door, laughing, before i could reach her
"enjoy!" she shouted, from behind the door.
"fuck you!" i walked back off downstairs and went back to max, she was just sat on the couch, red. "sorry about that max.. shes just lying i-i dont have feelings for you.." i lied, my diarys full of her name.
"its fine.. dont worry. sibling things.." she said, turning away
"wanna go to my room? just chill out or something. i dunno, talk or read more comics, up to you." i said, shrugging
"yeah, yeah sure." she got up, going to my room. i followed

me and max had awkward tension between us now.. i could tell she was uncomfortable and hated it so i just felt like i needed to clear the air.
"max? you okay?" i ask, worried
"y-yeah. fine.." she said, giving me a fake smile
"im just gonna say it, fuck it. what courtney said? yeah. yeah its true, i do like you. infact, i love you. ive loved you since the day i laid eyes on you in school with the boys.." i said, not wanting to look at her reaction. but then i felt her grab my chin and her lips connecting with mine
"i love you too, yn." she said, smiling at me
"dont mess with me, are you serious?" i asked, not believing it
"y/n/n, i just kissed you. why would i kiss you if i didnt like you?" she asked laughing at me
"do you wanna be my girlfriend thenn??" i ask, smirking
"i would love too." she kissed me again, i could feel her smiling aswell.
