you were sat in your room, scrolling through apps and then you got a call from sadie
"yn? are you alive?" she asked, genuinely sounding worried
"huh? ofcourse i am." you replied, confused
"oh thank fuck. everyones saying you died on social media, just had to check in." she said, finally okay
"im not dead? what the fuck?" you laughed
"i know that now, but i have no clue where this rumours has come from" sadie sink, sort of clearing her throat aswell
"il look into it, come over in about an hour." you said, "bye" ending the call
you then opended your laptop to see a load of articles saying your dead. you decided to post on instagram saying your not dead and its all a lie then you waited around for sadie to come

you and sadie had been cuddling whikst watching a horror movies for over 2 hours now, you had gotten abit bored so you decided to annoy sadie. randomly, youd just poke her wherever, or pinch her.
"yn. stop." she said, after the first few pokes and pinches
"im not even doing anything" you said, holding back laughter
you poke her a few more times, then pinch. she slapped your hand away
"yn, seriously stop." she said, in a scary tone
"okay, sorry." you said, sulking.
she didn't notice it straight away until she turned to face you
"im sorry for slapping your hand away" she said, pecking your lips
"im sorry for poking and pinching you, im abit bored to be honest." you admitted, smiling slightly
"lets do something then, how about we bake a cake? i want cake" sadie said, getting off your chest
"yeah! i want cake!" you followed sadie downstairs and into your kitchen, you already knew what to grab so you did exactly that
you and sadie grabbed all the ingredients and then a bowl, putting the ingredients in the bowl and mixing. whilst you were mixing, sadie put oil on the pan to stop it from sticking, then you poured the mixture into the pan, sadie has to help since you couldnt do it. once that was done you let is bake, so you watched tv to pass the time.

once the cake was ready, you and sadie got it out and let it cool for 10 minutes before you started to decorate it. she put vanilla frosting on it whilst you sprinkled on sprinkles. you both took a piece and ate it.
"were amazing cake makers" you said, finished the bite
"arent we just" sadie said, grabbing your hand.
you both finished the cake slice and went back upstairs, ready for bed.

*a month later*
the rumour had cleared itself up, you now werent known as 'dead'. you and sadie were still dating and she had been staying with you the past few days since her family were out on holiday for the next 2 weeks and she didnt want to go.
"yn, lets go on a walk. im bored" sadie said
"sure, grab a hoodie its cold" you said, getting out of your bed and going to your wardrobe
you chucked a hoodie at sadie "i dont want this one" she said grabbing the one she wanted and then put the other back "this one" she put it on
you two put your shoes on and then walked out, you locked the door behind you and then you walked off. you two walked around the whole neighbourhood but you had this one busy road to cross over. you and sadie were walking on the road when a car cane speading down, you pushed sadie out the way so it didnt hit her, making the car his you instead.
"yn!!" sadie said, running over to you "yn no!" she looked at you, tears in her eyes. she grabbed her phone to call an ambulance and then hoped for the best. she didnt move you or touch you just incase that made you worse.

you were now in hospital, getting surgery on your broken bones. sadie was in the waiting room, waiting for you to be done. she wasnt very patient though, she kept asking the front desk if you were done every 5 minutes, when you wete finally done she went straight to your room and sat down, staring at you.
"yn.." she said, beginning to sob "i.. love you." she said, grabbing you hand. she could see your heartbeat, somehow you were still alive just not awake at the moment
sadie stayed at the hospital all day, waiting for you to wake up but you didnt, yet your heart was still beating. the doctors said youd wake up in the next few days, sadie was hopeful yoyd pull through and live, but the doctors werent.

it had been two days since the accident, you still werent awake. sadie had stayed with the them whole two days, she couldn't bare the sight of you hurting but she didnt want to leave your side, she couldnt bring herself to leave you whatsoever. you were laying there, sadie sleeping whilst holdinh your hand. she felt your hand move so she awoke, then watched as you gently opened your eyes, she began crying happiness. happy her boyfriend was now awake
"yn oh my god. your awake." she said, finally pecking your forehead
"..hi, love" you said, raspy due to not speaking for awhile.
"i love you, so so much." she cried, her eyes red and stained
"i love you too, please never forget that." you said
you and sadie just chilled and spoke for the next few hours, she had stayed at the hospital the whole time you were there and she was staying aagin. she watched as you closed your eyes, hopeful you would wake up in the morning
"i love you forever, yn." she said, as she fell asleep

it was currently the middle of the night, and your monitor of your heart was beeping. sadie golted awake, realising what was going on the rushed out to get a doctor
"help! hes dying!" she cried, doctors ran in, trying to save you. sadie watched from behind as they tried to get your heart beating again. "please yn, get up." she whispered
"again!" a doctor shouted, the kept trying yet nothing was working
"time of death: 4:28am, 19th october 2023." a doctor said, sadies heart broke
"no! no! no! its not true!" she shouted, she was breaking down.
"im so sorry." a doctor said, attempting to take her out the room
"no, im not leaving him yet." she said, forcing herself in the room
"okay, we'll give you time. go ahead." the doctors finally left
sadie sat down on the chair next to you, just sobbing her heart out not wanting it to be true.
"please yn, wake up. i know your there" sadie said, knowing your ghost was watching
"get up!" you shouted at your dead body, your ghost trying to wake yourself up but it wasnt working whatsoever. you hated to see sadie like that.
"i love you so much yn, please dont go. i cant do this without you." sadie reached for your head, grabbing it then crying into it.
"please just get up! i cant bare to watch her like this!" you shouted again, trying to wake yourself up, nothing working yet again.
"i guess the rumours are true now, yn." she said, crying even more

*2 weeks later*
sadie had now fallen into a deep depression, her boyfriend basically the love of her life, gone just like that. her family had come back once they heard yn had died, they knew how much sadie loved and still loves yn. they knew how bad she'd be and they were true. sadie wouldnt eat, leave her room, or do anything a normal person would do. she just sat crying into her pillows, hoping yn would come back one day.
