In the quiet moments of the day, I find,

A longing in my heart, an ache confined,

For I miss coming home, her smile so wide,

As if the sun itself was by her side.

Her stories, like a river, flowed so free,

Guiding me through life's uncertain sea,

Her wisdom, like a beacon, ever bright,

I miss those precious moments, day and night.

The warmth of her embrace, a tender hug,

A refuge from the world, like a cozy rug,

Her eyes, filled with pride in all I'd do,

I miss those loving gazes, tried and true.

Together, we would sing our special song,

A duet of hearts, where we both belong,

I'd listen to her favourite singer, though not my taste,

For her happiness, no sacrifice to waste.

Our discussions, deep and filled with grace,In her presence,

I found my sacred space,

She'd pray for me, for family, every day,

I miss those heartfelt words, I must convey.

Each morning, as the sun began to rise,

Her "good morning" carried love, a sweet surprise,

And as the day drew to its peaceful end,

Her "goodnight" was a wish, a love to send.

Oh, how I miss those moments, now unseen,

Her love, her care, like a timeless dream,

My grandmother, in my heart, you'll forever be,

In cherished memories, your love lives on in me.
