It was a really good movie, so good that I ended up watching more that's similar to it. I did get some sleep but not as much as I should considering it was a 13-hour flight. Once we touched down in Tokyo, I was so happy to stretch my legs. I didn't spend time calling Stacy, I just wanted to get to my room to sleep. It's dark here, early in the morning though, the sun hasn't come out yet. I decided to stay in Tokyo for a night and then move to the house I rented that's out in the countryside. I know, why the countryside? Well, I spend all this time and money to come out here to enjoy the real Japan, not the New York version of Japan. Nothing against Tokyo, so far it's amazing but I really want to enjoy the slower part of Japan.

After I go back home I plan on looking for somewhere to live that's smaller. Stacy knows of my plans to move someday. It sucks were will be apart but she supports me 100%. The odds of me being forever single is very likely so I might as well just take it easy.

After I found my luggage, I called a taxi to take me to my hotel.

"So...you American yes", the taxi driver asked.

"Yes, I'm from Texas."

"Oh, Texas, it's where cowboys live, yes?"

I laughed.

"You can say that."

He laughed too.

"I'm Hiroshi, your name?"

"Oh, I'm Jacquelyn."

"Oh wow! Hard to say."

"Oh yeah, I guess it's hard to say in Japanese...hmm what about Jackie?"

"Jackie, easier", he said with a laugh. "Do you speak Japanese? I teach you some."

"A little. Um...hajimemashite."

"Oh! Good, good!"

I laughed. "Thank you...oh...arigatou."

"You will do just fine here. I hope you enjoy Japan."

"Thank you Hiroshi."

Hiroshi talked more about Japan and the places I should visit. He told me about the small town I was going to stay in. He said it's very relaxing but I should learn some more Japanese because no one there speaks English. I told him I was fine with that. There's no better way to learn a new language than being forced to, especially when you're hungry. Hiroshi arrived at my hotel and then helped me with my luggage.

I made it to my room and collapsed onto my bed, not moving an inch. Actually, I don't even remember falling asleep. I swear I felt like I slept for a whole day. Jet lag is no joke. I didn't want to sleep the day away so I forced myself to get up. Besides, I was only here for one night so I had to get going soon. My way to get to the house was by bus. It was too early to catch it so I went sightseeing. My first stop was the Harajuku district, it was a must-see for me. I did a little bit of shopping, mostly for clothes. I had to buy mainly oversized stuff that really wasn't oversized for me since I knew I was a bit bigger than the locals but that didn't bother me. I was met with great hospitality wherever I went and the occasional guy who spoke broken English trying to hit on me. Jungle fever runs here too I guess.

After I brought the things I was looking for and had a bite to eat, I made my way back to the bus station where I took out my phone to call Stacy. I didn't feel like figuring out how to call her from here so I just FaceTimed her.

"Jackie, finally! OMG, I thought something happened, I was so worried", she cried.

"I'm sorry Stac, I just wanted to focus on not getting lost as soon as I stepped foot off the plane. I'm waiting at the bus stop. It should be here in about two hours."

"Did you run across any cute guys?

"Oh my god Stacy, stop."

"Oh come on, you didn't come across any? I'm not saying to go up and kiss one but still, just having a look won't hurt."

"Okay, yes, I saw some cute guys."

"Oh my gosh!"

"Now stop and let me tell you some stuff."

We talked the entire two hours until the bus showed up. I was grateful for that because it didn't feel like two hours.

Some of the other passengers were kind to help me load up my stuff under the bus and then we were off. It was going to be a long bus ride, perfect for me to get some well-needed sleep because I was exhausted. The plane ride and touring have really hit me. By the time I reach my destination, I should be well rested. My eyes drifted shut as I quickly fell asleep, from the start of my new adventures.

"Sumimasen...ano...suminasen...miss..."

I felt someone tapping my shoulder.

"Ugh...huh", I said in a groggy voice.

"You stop miss...where is your stop..."

My eyes slowly opened but it was blurry at first. It took a few seconds for me to see where I was.

"Oh..."

I reached into my bag to pull out the address to where I was going.

"Here...my ah...house...ie...rental."

"Ie...ah...no sorry...ah, back house, far back, hour ago."

"Huh? An hour ago but...where am I? Can't we just go back?"

"No, bus stops here for a few weeks. No more bus."

"No more bus?! Oh no, we have to go back, I don't, I don't know where I am. Please", I begged.

"I sorry...really. Gomen, gomen", he said, frantically bowing.

Oh crap! Crap, crap, crap! I screwed up big time!

I didn't want to argue with the guy, it's my fault I'm in this pickle. He was kind enough to help me take my things off the bus. He did say there were no places to stay here but some of the grandmas here would help me out by letting me stay. They just didn't speak a lick of English of course.

"Oh my gosh", I said. "Why, why?!"

I trailed down a dirty road, my shoes and luggage getting all muddy. It had just rained not too long ago. At this point I don't care, I just want to go somewhere to get help. I need to find my way back to where I'm supposed to be.
