Y/n pov:
I just finished the funeral for my grandparents yesterday. Mom was crying just like me while marinett and dad just looked sad . I get it cause they were not that close to them . I was in China all my life with my grandparents since my mom and dad were poor when we both were born . My grandpa gave a hand to them saying they can take care of us both . My mom didn't want to let go of us bur she had to so she sent only me .
I lived a pretty normal life . The only problem were school . People started making fun when I was in middle school . They thought my parents left me and went away. I mean I did belive them for a while but eventually I understood the actual story . By the time I was in high school . I was being targeted, both teachers and students hated me. I didn't care what they did to me so that made them hate me more. I started concentrating only on study to assure my grandparents that I'll live a better life .
Right now I just finished my 10th grade and also when my grandparents went away .
------- Finally we reached Paris. It felt so new and exciting for me . But for my family it looked like coming back home .
Dad opened the door letting all of us inside . " y/n do u mind sharing the room with Mari " my mom said . " No I don't mind " I say . Mari takes me upstairs which I guess is where our room is . " make ur self comfortable. I'll go get some extra cushion for the bed " said Mari leaving me all alone .
Time skip to tomorrow
I wake up get ready and go down to eat breakfast . Just then marinett rushes down sliping and falling over my food . " I'm really sorry about this y/n" she says. " It's OK ...but are u alright tho" .I say looking at all wet cause of the milk. Just when I ask the qution she looks at our mother . " she doesn't know how to speak chinese yet y/n " says mom." I'm fine but are u alright is what I had asked" I say I'm French leaving both of them in shock. "U know how to speak french" both of them say . " yes I learnt it in my school " I reply. And then we finally realize that it's time for school so Mari just pulls me saying bye to her mother and leaving for school.
At school
" here's our class " marinett says . We walk to see a lady in white suite looking at us . " oh u must be y/n ....come in and why don't u introduce urself " she says . " hello " I bow a bit and continue " I'm y/n dupain cheng and I'm marinetts twin sister" I say. Everyone seem shocked to know that she Marinette had a sister . " u can go sit over ther at the end" the teacher says .
After classes at break
I close all my book when marinett and another girl with glasses and two boys come near me . " I'm Alya and this is Adrien and Nino " she tells me . I bow a bit again and look at marinett who seems to be staring at the boy ....Adrian right his name was Adrian. " nice to meet u all as u know I'm y/n" I say . " whoa ur French is almost perfect " Nino tells me to wich I just smile .
Suddenly there is screaming and noises outside . Marinett tells me to go hide with them which I do . But when we are running we all go in deferent directions as it gets crowded by the painc of these people . I go hide Bhind a brick . An old man watching also comes to hide . It seems he didn't notice me there but oh well who cares. I look out and see something which I can't belive i saw ." I miss my grandparents and my home being bullied was better then seeing this city in trouble like this" I thought .
