Lancer was first created in Early 2022 for the initial version of Abnormal. At this time, he closely resembled a Thrash Machine from Deltarune, specifically a Thrash Machine LastyGhost made during her playthrough of Deltarune.
In Late 2022, he was given more details due to LastyGhost focusing on detail at the time.
