The Sorcerer's Stone (BOOK 1)

YR 1 [CHAPTER 6]

                                                                         GRINGOTTS

"But, Hagrid, how am I to pay for all this? I haven't any money." harry asked

"correction, harry, us! WE dont have any money" i said while he just rolled his eyes

"Well, there's yer money" hagrid then spoked as he points to a tall, white, marble building, Gringotts Bank

"Gringotts, the Wizard Bank. T'ain't no safer place, not one. 'Cept perhaps Hogwarts." he added

"i love magic" i whispered to harry as he laughed 

"me too"

we went inside the bank and we walk down the shiny aisle, passing tiny creatures working at their desks.

"Uh, Hagrid, what exactly are these things?" harry asked 

well this boy asked too many question, i swear. well at the same time i cant blame him we barely know about magic

"They're goblins, Harry. Clever as they come goblins but not the most friendly of beasts. Bes' stay close." hagrid answered him

we then approached the last stall and there was a goblin there and then he looked up

"Mr. Harry Potter and Ms. Y/n Potter wishes to make a withdrawal." hagrid cleared throat

"And does Mr. Harry Potter and Ms. Y/n Potter have their key?"  the goblin asked

oh wow they can speak

"Oh, wait a minute. Got it here somewhere. Ha! There's the little devil. Oh, and there's something else as well." hagrid said then took out a key and a letter 

"Professor Dumbledore gave me this. It's about You-Know-What in vault You-Know-Which." hagrid continued while me and harry just glanced at eachother 

"Very well." the goblin signed us to follow him so we waited for hagrid to walk so that we can follow him

after a while we race down the depth caverns in a cartlike structure. The cart stops, and a goblin, called Griphook, clambers out

"Vault 687. Lamp, please." i reached out for the lamp and gave griphook the lamp

"key please" then hagrid hand him the key, i find it cute that he was saying please if he request something from us

he then open the vault and it was full of coins that we couldnt point out what money it was but for sure it was a lot. i looked at harry with a shocked expression while he did the same 

"Didn't think yer mum and dad will leave you both with nothing now, did yeh?" hagrid said while laughing at our expression

"now get some money and lets go" hagrid said as he pulled out a pouch and grabbed a handful of money and put it at each pouch and gave it to us

"is that enough, hagrid?" i asked

"oh well more than enough!" he said while he went to the cart as the vault closed and locked itself

the goblin then drove us into another vault

"Vault 713." the goblin spoke up

"What's in there, Hagrid?" harry asked

"Can't tell yeh, Harry. It's Hogwarts business. Very secret." hagrid said while we just nodded

"Stand back." griphook said so we did and with that he slides his finger and the vault opened itselfs

the vault opens to reveal a small white stone package. Hagrid enters the vault and scoops it up. The eerie light it was shining with disappears.

"Bes' not to mention this to anyone, twins" he said while me and harry just nodded
