YR 1 [CHAPTER 13]

NICK AND OTHER RESIDENTS

me and hermoine were talking about everything she had done and what being a muggle was, yes i lived at a muggle place but i couldnt really treasure it because you know already those bloody dursley

"i can invite you to dinner sometimes! im sure mom will agree!" she said smiling at me

"its a pleasure, mione!" i exclaimed

then we heard a ding of a bell so we looked infront and saw professor mcgonagall holding a cup and spoon 

"Your attention, please." she said then professore dumbledore stood up from his sit and opened his arms

"Let the feast... begin." then foods pop up the table 

"wow" me and hermoine said at the same time and we giggled at eachother about it

i was looking at the chicken that was infront of the twins and i cant reach it and was too afraid to ask about it

fred looked at me and smiled grabbing a plate and putting two chickens and passed it to me my eyes then shine and smiled at him widely

"thanks! i owe you one!" i said to him still smiling as he shook his head laughing then continued to munch onto the food

then a ghost appeared at the middle of the table while we were eating i shreak since im afraid at ghosts

"AHH!" i shreak as hermoine and the others laughed at me i lowered my head down feeling embarrased but continued to eat

"Hello! Im sorry for scaring you  but How are you? Welcome to Gryffindor." he greeted me i smiled at him

"hello, sir. im fine! pleasure to meet you sir" i gave him a humble response

"Hello, Sir Nicholas. Have a nice summer?" percy spoke up 

"Dismal. Once again, my request to join the headless hunt has been denied." he then began floating away i feel sad for him 

"I know you! You're Nearly Headless Nick!" ron exclaimed and then sir nicholas turn to look back

"I prefer Sir Nicholas if you don't mind." he spoked up

"Nearly" headless? How can you be nearly headless?" asked hermoine 

"like this" he then pulled his head and it deattached from the body, my eyes widened but shrugged it

"dont mind my friends, sir nicholas but uhm maybe you can apply again for the headless hunt? im sure this time they'll accept you it would be their loss if they wouldnt accept you" i smiled softly at him which he returned back the gryffindors girls and boys then looked at me in awe

"well thank you, ms. y/n is the sorting hat really sure you arent in ravenclaw?" he then floated away

"Gryffindors, follow me, please. Keep up. Thank you." we followed percy who was leading us

"This is the most direct path to the dormitories. Oh, and keep an eye on the staircases. They like to change." he said i gape watching the stairs move by itself 

"Keep up, please, and follow me. Quickly now, come on. Come on." me and hermoine were besides eachother

"look mione! the pictures are moving" i said pointing at the pictures she giggled and nodded

and then we arrived at the seventh floor i pressume

we were standing right infront a picture with a beautiful lady 

"password?" it talked me and hermoine looked at eachother shocked

"Caput Draconis." percy then answered then the picture opened leading into a place, a beautiful place

"Gather around here. Welcome to the Gryffindor Common Room. Boys' dormitory is upstairs and down to your left. Girls, the same on your right. You'll find that your belongings have already been brought up." percy explained

me and hermoine went upstairs together hand in hand

"cmon! lets be dormiess!!" she exclaimed while i nodded my head eagerly liking the idea

and the first day at hogwarts went like that
