"Hmph, comfy" Frieren mumbled as she snuggled her head deeper into Y/n's neck who was carrying her on his back.

"Frieren are you awake?"

"No I'm still asleep"

"Ah okay then"

"Wait! How did you answer me if you were asleep?" Y/n said making Fern face palm.

"I can't see anything, this blizzard is harsh" Stark said expressing his discomfort.

"If we keep heading north we'll get to a town ahead" Frieren said

"Frieren can you walk?" Y/n asked, Frieren paused for a little bit before answering

"No"

"Ahh, okay"

"If you're tired, I can take her" Stark answered

"Never" Y/n answered walking ahead with Frieren clinging onto his back like a koala.

"Perv" Fern said walking past Stark

"How am I a perv?" Stark asked but both of them just left him behind without answering his question.

"I can't believe there's a village this deep into the blizzard" Stark said

"Yeah" Y/n said still carrying Frieren.

"Frieren-sama you took too long" A small girl said approaching them as Y/n dropped Frieren softly on her feet.

"I barely have enough energy for this" Y/n said sighing. Then Stark explained about how the hero sword was protected by the people of the land. And about how no one could pull out the sword except Himmel.

"The hero sword is meant to be pulled out by the one who would defeat the great evil"

"Can I just get some sake"

"No you can't" Fern said

"So Y/n how do you feel?" Frieren whispered to him

"Nervous, agitated, mad even. I want to destroy that sword" Y/n sighed

"It can't be helped you're part demon after all" Frieren said softly as Y/n just walked ahead.

"There was a destroyed cabin outside the village"

"It's an old hunting cabin"

They all went into a small house as the girl told Frieren about how unruly the 'lord of the mountain' has been lately.

"Well we'll start tommorow, with the demon extermination" Frieren said

Y/n watched as Frieren, Fern and Stark killed some wolf like creatures.

"Y/n-san won't you join us?"

"If the lord of the mountains was being unruly, why didn't you hire other adventurers to get rid of it" Fern asked

"Because this is the land of the sword, protected by Himmel" Frieren said

Stark walked off to a cliff.
