Sosou no Frieren {Frieren X Male reader}

Sleep curses

  "They've all been cursed" Y/n observed

"C-cursed?" Stark said

"Yep"

"Magic that stones people or put them to sleep exist"

"Those that mages don't understand the principle behind are known as curses"

"Since we don't know the principle behind them we can't undo it"

"So it's too late for these people?" Stark asked

"No, humanity's magic can't but magic of the goddess or Demon magic is a different story" Frieren said glancing at Y/n and Sein.

"Don't look at me like that, I'm not the guy who knows stuffs" Y/n said

"Undo the spell"

"I can't"

"Why not?"

"It's a whole village, you know how much manna that'd take?"

"Two third of your mana"

"That's right two third of my mana"

"It'll just refill what's the big deal" Stark said

"And they'll fall asleep again, how many times do you expect me to keep wasting mana" Y/n whined.

"You're right" Stark said while Sein examines them to try and determine the curse

"I can sense the curse"Y/n said sighing

"I can't" Fern said

"Me neither but I can tell I'm being attacked somehow" Frieren said

"I'm feeling anxious" Fern said shaking making Stark even more terrified

"I'm scared!!!!" Stark cried and before they knew it Stark had fallen asleep

"Ah, he fell asleep" Y/n pointed out

"Let's just find this thing and kill it" Y/n said walking forward as Frieren floated Stark following Y/n

"Fern fell asleep too" Y/n pointed out

"She won't wake up" Frieren said shaking her

"Oh no, I'm feeling sleepy too. I think the curse got me"

"You just had too much to drink you dummy" Frieren and Sein said

"I'm just gonna get some........shut eye" Y/n said falling asleep( he's not even affected by the curse he's just sleepy from drinking too much)

"Well he's out" Sein sighed

"I'll put up a barrier and hide them here" Frieren said

Frieren and Sein were looking for the monster when Frieren also started to feel sleepy

"Sein, wake me up when the monster shows up. Don't fight it alone" Frieren said falling asleep leaving Sein on his own. The monster arrived probably sensing Sein was finally alone, Sein tried to fight back but it kept on reflecting his attacks

"What do I do? Should I lead it towards Y/n the commotion should wake him up I bet he could kill it quick, No Fern and Stark are also there it could put them in danger. Should I wake Frieren? But we haven't built mutual understanding or trust" Sein thought conflicted as he dodged attacks from the monster before finally coming to the conclusion to wake Frieren who killed the monster instantly.
