I could never get my eyes off her, i kept looking back and she would always caught me staring at her.
"Dude baka matunaw si Sky niyan" asar ni Clark at bahagyang tinapik ang braso ko.
"Same to you" i said and he chuckled. Sky wore a blue as sky's color gown, simple yet elegant.
I immediately frowned when i felt a hand wrapped around my shoulder, i looked at her she was wearing red yeah red as blood.
"Hi Ace" she said and blinked. I tried to ignore her presence but she will just papansin overtime.
Sky's POV
Hindi ko maiwasang kiligin lalo na kapag nahuhuli ko siyang nakatingin saakin.
"Uy titig na titig sayo ah" sambit ni Raine at sinampal ko siya sa braso niya.
"Si Clark rin naman ah" i said at bigla nalang itong nanahimik.
"Shut up with Clark" she said in a low voice, Akala niya ata hindi ko narinig. "Btw girl may linta oh" she said and pointed her index finger sa babaeng parang linta nga kung kumapit kay Sir Ace.
"Mia" mahinang pagkabulong ko sa pangalan niya.
"Hey Sky" agad akong napatingin sa likod at hinanap kung sino yun.
"K-kyle?" I said.
"Yeah sky ace asked me to bring this to you, better wear it bye" he said and vanished from my sight, he left a small paper bag and when I looked inside i found a pink bracelet, agad ko naman itong kinuha at inobserbahan.
I looked at him more than three times. Is this really for me?. I didn't know what to do pero sinuot ko lang ito.
"Good evening ladies and gentlemen's specially to our promenaders! Welcome to promenade 2024 titled Bringing Enchanted and Elegance I am your host Lou Kalindog and...."
"Francis Palan" energetic and we'll said. I ship those two teachers, bagay na bagay talaga sila.
"Please rise up for the opening prayer followed by the national anthem" ma'am Lou said.
Hindi nagtagal, hindi ko namalayang ang bilis pala ng takbo ng oras lalo na maraming speech ang binitawan. Nabuhayan nalang ako ng marinig ko na kami na Ang next.
"Ladies and Gentlemen's the Cotillion De honor" Sir Francis said as the music starts to play nag simula ang pagpasapasahan saamin ng mga lalaki o diba ang sakit cannot stick to one, naghahanap pa ng iba.
"You look gorgeous" narinig kong bulong niya at nagdala ito ng kiliti saaking tenga.
"You look handsome Sir Ace" i complimented bago ako umikot at ipasa sa iba. I can't bear not to look at him, pinaghalo siyang handsome at elegance ewan ko kung nagmake sense but yun na yun.
Raine POV
I kept loosing on track kahit hindi na ako sumunod sa prinactice namin makaiwas lang ako kay Clark.
I saw the girl smiled ng mapasa siya kay Clark ngumiti ako pero iba ang sinasabi ng puso ko, is it the guilt? It's taking over me.
"Raine ipapasa kita kay Clark" Kyle said and i panicked, i thought the night would be smooth but my thought ended when i tripped.
"Raine ok kalang?" Pag-aalalang tanong ni Sky.
Everyone is looking at me they all stopped dancing at halos matunaw na ako sa hiya ng makita ang disappointment sa mga mata niya.
"Im sorry" i said and standed up. I walk to our table at hindi ko alam kung gaano karami akong beses na humingi ng paumanhin sa mga teacher's.
"What happened?" Tanong ni Sky ng bumalik na siya sa table namin, hinatid naman siya ni Camero at si Clark naka sit-in sa table nila ace.
"Um Kyle tried to toss me to Clark tapos i tried para pigilan yun and then i tripped" pagpapaliwanag ko.
"Why? Why are you avoiding Clark?" She asked.
"I just.... Sky Basta" sambit ko at tumingin na lamang sa table.
Clark POV
Earlier...
"Kyle toss me Raine ok?" Utos ko. "You to Ace"
"Apaka desperado mo naman ah" sambit ni Kyle. Do i sound like that? Yes im desperate, she's been avoiding me ever since she became my prom partner.
When the dance started she avoided me 13 times and more.
"Ouch" daing ng mga babaeng nakakasayaw ko.
"Clark focus" pati yan.
But how can i? When she was always being tossed in another man's arm? Iwas siya ng iwas saakin sa tingin niya ata nakakatuwa.
"Raine ipapasa kita kay Clark" a smirk immediately played on my lips, this is the chance. I saw her umiikot pa punta saakin pero natigil ang lahat ng matumba siya, I can see embarrassment in her eyes, I was going to help when she got up on her own.
I heard her apologize so many times kila ma'am, hanggang sa matapos ang sayaw namin.
"What's gotten into her?" Tanong ni Kyle. "Did something happended between you two?.
Ace POV
I can't help but smile, I danced her even for just a while. When Raine tripped she was there to help her.
"Did you talk to her?" I asked Clark na ngayon namumutla na masyado.
"I thought ok lang kami" sambit niya. At nawala uli ako sa focus, when i remember how one hundred and thousands of bolt traveled to my body when i held her hands.
"Ace, dance me mamaya ah" Mia said, shouldn't be the guy asking that? Or is this another scheme para paselosin si Sky? Yes i know what she is playing but i can't handle to think that her family and mine were friends both in personal life and politics stuff.
"How can i ask her?" Tanong ni Clark.
"Use your mouth dude ikaw pa naman ang pinaka-walang hiya sa group natin" Kyle stated at halatang hindi natuwa si Clark.
Sky POV
Mukhang malalim ang pinag-uusapan nila Sir Ace. Halos kainin na ako ng kaba when the slow dance music started singing in the air.
What if hindi niya ako yayain? Sh*t naman itong feeling na to Sky.
"Can I have the dance Raine?" Camero asked and Raine responded. Ako nalang ang tira sa table namin, wish he would dance me kahit napilit lang siya nila Kyle.
