Simon owns a large sniper rifle in order to get over his fear of guns. However when he holds it, there are two outcomes:
He pictures the dead man coming for him, Ashley dying and he screams as tears pour down his face.
OR
He becomes calm, breathes and shoots at the mirror he has in his bedroom. He does this to regain his strength, bravery and revenge for hurting people.
