[ Maddie ]

I woke up this morning to the birds chirping loudly and the beautiful sun rising from the clouds. As I stretched up and grabbed my dressing gown then ran downstairs to see who was awake. "Morning honey" my mom said as I walked into the kitchen, I smelt the aroma of the bacon and eggs my mom was cooking. "Have a nice sleep?" My mom questioned. I nodded and pulled out a chair from the table. Just then some post came through the letter box. I wasn't expecting any post today so I grabbed my phone and started checking Instagram. As my mom came back into the room. "Bills, bills, bills" she muttered scanning through the envelopes. "Oh! Maddie, Mackenzie you have got a letter!" A rush of excited fell through me as mom handed me the envelope it read :

"Woah" Mackenzie whispered.
"Yeah" I replied, then as if by magic we both shouted in unison.
"MOM, DAD WE'VE BEEN INVITED TO BELLA DA VOSE ACADEMY OF DANCE!!!"
"really?" My dad said from newspaper
"Oh my gosh thats great girls! "mom exclaimed
"You need to call this number" Mackenzie said handing my mom the letter, Mackenzie picked up an apple from the table and crunched on it. I was so excited I completely forgot about having breakfast so I got a bit of toast and spreaded it will nutella. Then gobbled it down. By then my dad had got up and left for work on my mom was on the phone to the academy. It's strange trying to listen what people are talking about on the phone because all you can hear is "yeah, yeah" or "ok". So went back on Instagram. After mom had finally finished on the phone she told me that me and Mackenzie had to pack today and we leave tomorrow.
" tomorrow?!?" I thought happily as I rushed upstairs to pack. I heaved my pink suitcase out of of under my bed and put it in the middle of the floor. I placed everything neatly inside like all my clothes for Saturdays and Sundays, my wash bag, my nightwear, all my specials things, my competition box (including hair and makeup stuff) and my dance wear and shoes. After I zipped it up and grabbed my phone to text Kendall:

Maddie : hey k, did you get some post this morning? ✉
Kendall : Yeah I did. It was from a dance academy. Did you?
Maddie : same! I'm going to go Are you?
Kendall : I'm not sure. Lemme check with my mom.
Maddie : OK
Kendall : Yes! I am allowed! So is Nia!
Maddie : omg yay!!
Kendall : I'll see you tommorrow then!!
Maddie : byeeeeeeeeeeee!
Kendall : byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
