Chapter 12

Two Years Later
Misty Pov
It's been 2 years since me and Kylin broke up. We used to see each other at school but I ignored him. After graduation I never saw him again and I was satisfied. I bought myself an apartment and moved out front with my mom.

I got up to do my hygiene things, then got dressed. I didn't have to work today but I needed to go to the grocery store. I put on some purple pants , white shirt, and all white converse. I grabbed my keys then left. I got a shopping cart then headed in. I needed cereal, eggs, lemonade, bread, fries, chips, pasta and some meat. I had got everything except the cereal. I walked down the aisle and seen someone that looked very familiar. It was Jakia and a little girl. I just ignored them and kept looking for my cereal then I heard someone say something.
"Baby what kind of cereal?" Jakia asked
"Fruit Loops" Kylin said turning the corner into the aisle we were in
I continued to ignore then I had to walk past then to get to the cash register. I continued to walk then I felt Kylin's eyes on me.
"Misty?" He asked
"Yes Kylin" I said with an attitude
"I haven't seen u in forever"
"Okay and"
"How have you been?"
"Perfectly fine", "how about you"
"I've been okay"
"Umm Okay have a nice day" I said walking off
"Wait can I have your number?"
"For?"
"I wanna talk to you"
"Umm don't you have a family I said pointing at the little girl in the shopping cart?"
"Umm yeah but I still wanna talk"
"Whatever I said pulling out a piece of paper writing down my number"
"Thanks"
And with that I walked off. I really missed Kylin but to see him have a child really hurt me. I mean after him telling me he didn't wanna be with Jakia then having a baby didn't make sense. I headed home then texted the girls. We need a girls day to talk about all of this.
Me to Ciaunna, Kennedy, Candesha, Kortnee & Tashauri
Me : Come over we need to talk😬
Ciaunna💞 : On My Way
Kennedy👭💘 : You at momma's ?
Me : No My house
Candyy😛 : Outside
Kortnee😇👯 : What's ya address
Me : dangg big thirsty && 131 north maple
Tashauri😕💜 : Okay
Good thing I went to the store cause I know they gone be hungry. I started cooking spaghetti and garlic bread. I left the door unlocked cause I knew the girls were coming.
   "Baddieeee" Candesha yelled
   "I'm in the kitchen"
   "What chu cooking"
   "First of all its you and spaghetti"
   "Didn't ask for all that"
   "Hey" Kortnee said walking in
   "Hey"
Once everybody was there we sat at the table and ate.
   "So I brought y'all here to tell y'all bought Kylin"
   "Y'all still talk?" Ciaunna asked
   "No but I seen him today"
   "What he say?" Tashauri asked
   "He was there with Jakia and his daughter. But when he seen me he asked for my number so we could talk"
   "DAUGHTER!" Kortnee yelled
   "Yes ma'am"
   "Well y'all do need to talk" Kortnee said
   "Yeah ik"
Once we were finished eating I washed the dishes and looked at my nails.
   "Let's go to the nail shop, my nails are trashed" I said
   "Y'all gone pay for me I'm broke" Candesha said laughing
   "Yes girl" I said laughing
We all got in Ciaunna car then drove to the nail shop.
   "I want them all white with gold bows" I told the lady
   "Okay"
I was finished I tipped the lady 2 dollars then waited for Candesha to finish. Once she was finish I payed then waited for everybody else. While I was waiting I checked Instagram. I was scrolling down my TL when I seen a picture Kylin posted. Of him and his daughter.

I liked it then continued to scroll. Then a message notification popped up on my phone.
?? : Hey
Me : Who is this
?? : so you deleted my #
Me : Changed my #
?? : Ky
Me : Awee Hey
Ky😕 : Wyd
Me : Finna leave nail shop Wyd
Ky😕 : Awee you wanna talk today ?
Me : Sure Where ?
Ky😕 : your house .. Is it okay if I bring my daughter
Me : yeah & come at 5
Ky😕 : okay
Everybody was done then we left. It was now 4. I wasn't going to change clothes so I just had them stay till he got there.
"Okay time for y'all to go" I said
"Awee I forgot ky on his way" Candesha said laughing
"Shutup, Bye y'all"
"Bye" they all said
It was 5:05 then I heard a knock on the door.
"Hey" Ky said
"Hey I said shuting the door
We walked into the living room. He took of his coat and then his daughters coat.
"So what's her name?" I asked
"Kamya"
"Awe y'all names her after your sister" I said laughing
"Yeah"
"That's nice"
"Okay so misty I'm sorry for everything. The night you seen me on Jakia wasn't even planned. When she found out u was coming she hurried up and jumped on me and started kissing me" ky explained
"But if it was a mistake you wouldn't of had Kamya"
   "Don't bring my child into this"
   "Don't get me wrong she's a pretty little girl, but if you really wanted me back you wouldn't of got her pregnant"
   "Misty Im Sorry I just don't know how to make it up to you, will you forgive me?"
   "Yes, we can work on our relationship"
   "Friendship or Relationship?" He asked
   "I don't want to break up your family"
   "You won't just give it a try"
   "Why not" I said
Ky got up and hugged me.
   "But if we're working on our relationship you can't live with Jakia, you can't kiss on her, sleep at her house, only time y'all need to communicate is about Kamya"
   "I have full custody of Kamya so Jakia will call me I won't call her"
   "Okay"
   "But you gotta treat Kamya like she was your own"
   "Why wouldn't I", "Now call Jakia and tell her" I said
He got his phone and called Jakia
Me : I'm fixing my relationship with Misty. You can call me to see Kamya but nothing more.
Jakia : REALLY ! No that's my daughter bring her to me NOW
Me : no that's my child she's living with me I have custody you DONT
Jakia : you really annoying me !
Me : Bye
"So you back home" I said smiling
"You know it" he said kissing me
