Chapter 29
Choices
As we sat down in our booth,
A waiter came with two menus.
"Hello, ladies. Welcome to Jonathan's Pizza Place! What would you like to drink today?"
The waiter flashed Channi a smile.
Channi's eyes widened at the handsome waiter's attention at her.
I laughed a little at her cute shocked expression.
"Two iced teas, please." I told the waiter.
He chuckled along with me.
"Your friend is cute." He said to me, then he left.
I grinned at Channi.
It was true, Channi was really pretty.
Pretty enough to be a Korean star.
I was jealous of her sometimes.
She always gets so much attention from guys, but she never believes it when I tell her.
Chapter 30
Choices
Pepperoni or cheese?
I would choose pepperoni.
Pepperoni, cheese,
Hawaiian, veggie,
deluxe, veggie deluxe,
spinach, mushrooms and swiss cheese,
with or without anchovies?
Too many choices,
I hate choices sometimes.
Chapter 31
Choices
(Aecha Chu/ Channi 's POV)
"This ones for you and me,
Living out our dreams,
We're all
Right where we should be.
With my arms out wide,
I open my eyes,
And now all I wanna see
Is a sky full of lighters..."
I passed by the river near my house
As the rap sequence of the song came in.
I love Bruno Mars songs.
Well, actually, I love all songs.
And I love to sing.
That's why I auditioned for an entertainment company
During the summer when I was in Seoul.
I never thought I would be accepted.
But I was, and I wasn't going to tell my best friends.
I don't want them to know that I'm leaving them to be a singer.
They'll think I only care about being famous.
