BLAKE P.O.V

After calling Matthew I went to our bedroom and laid on the bed.

I heard the bedroom door open and close.

I knew it was Kayden but open my eyes anyways.

"Hey baby"

She looked at me for a minute and rolled her eyes.

"What's wrong?"

"Why don't you ask yourself that" she said

"Is it because I asked you to come home?"

She looked at me with a 'duh' face.

"Baby I'm doing this for your own safety"

"Uh-huh then what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be like at the border or something"

"I asked Andrew to handle it for me"

"Whatever"

She walked towards the bed and laid beside me.

"I'm sorry" she said

What's with the mood swings?

"Why?" I asked

"I'm being such a bitch and- ahhh!!" She screamed

"Baby what's wrong" I got up

"P-pain everywhere"

"Shit"

"What's g-going o-on?"

"You're going through heat. Baby I'm sorry but I can't be here.. I'll.. bring Alice and Sandra"

"N-no don't leave me. I need you now"

"No baby you're going to regret it" I said looking at her in the eyes

I quickly mind linked Sandra and Alice to come here.

In no time the both of them were in the room with a bowl of cold water and some cloth.

I got out. Shifted. And ran as far as I could.

"Mate mate get back to her now" Seb growled

"No Seb we can't"

After that small conversation with Seb I rested at a shady tree by the stream.

I just hope that Kayden can get through this.

KAYDEN P.O.V

That piece of shit left me alone when I needed him the most.

'I won't let anything hurt you' my ass.

I didn't know going through heat would hurt this much.

My body is on fire

At least Alice and Sandra are helping me.

They wiped almost every part of my body with the cloth that were in their hands.

But it's not making much of a difference.

"H-how long would this last?" I managed to choke out.

"It depends sweetie maybe 3 to 7 days"

"What!?"

I laid back trying to control the pain.

"I'll set up a cold bath for you" Alice said.

'I want mate now!!' said Anne

I ignored her and waited for Alice to come out and when she did they helped got into the bathtub.

I laid in the bathtub for at least an hour before coming out.

At least I feel better now.

I still can't believe Blake left me here.

I got changed and laid on the bed.

I heard a knock and the sound of the door click

Sandra and Alice walked in.

"Hey, how are you feeling?" asked Sandra

"Better"

"Can I ask you guys something?"

"Sure go ahead" said Alice

"Why did Blake leave me here alone?"

"Well maybe it's because you aren't ready to do 'it' just yet" explained Sandra

"And how long will he be gone?"

"Until your heat is over" said Sandra

"The Alpha just mind linked me saying we must be with you at all times as unmated wolves will try to harm you" said Alice

I just nodded my head and closed my eyes.

They got up and left me alone.

Soon after I fell asleep with the thoughts of when is this going to be over.
