It was cold winter day

The ice formed throughout the forest as three teenagers and man who's arms were on a beautiful girl's shoulders came laughing from a joke being told

Savanna who was always quiet sat alone on a bark while the couples and boys shared one. She listened to them with a smile on her face, She seemed content just listening while the people she call friends chattered away with their own smile. Looking at the couple- Marcus and Ally were oblivious to there surroundings as they smiled at each other with love

She was happy her best friend has finally found her mate- the other half. She knew how Ally felt completed with the love of her life beside her and let's not forget the next in line to the throne, The King of shadow Heart

Savanna looked around the snow covered forest. Everything looked white except the trees. They were seated on a bark that surrounded a fire Marcus' had made while Allan and Ed had fixed each other's camp. The girls though prepared snacks for their campfire tonight

"Oh oh oh you guys it's almost dark!" Ally gushed as she bounced through Marcus' lap, Marcus didn't seem to mind; he looked more pleased to see his mate smile and act childlike

"I can't wait to scare the shit out you women. You guys are always whimps" Ed boasted as he rubbed his hand to warm but then added a 'just kidding' in the end when Marcus threw a glare towards him for insulting his mate

"What? No offense alpha but your too old to be with us"

"Hey!" Ally snapped "Marcus is only twenty eight, he's not that old and for your information loser, we are not scared right Savanna?" Ally turned to Savanna who in return gave a nod with small smile of her own

"Pft! Savanna's no woman! She's basically a man!" Everyone laughed including Ally who seemed like she was trying to be offended for her sake but failed with her face screwed in what looked like a battle of her eyebrows furrowed with her lips quirked up. But then Savanna wasn't a tiny bit insulted

She did act like a man throughout her childhood years. She preferred playing with dirt and was a geek herself with video games she played with the boys. She remembered playing Xbox with Allan 24 hours and only went down for meals. True, it was unhealthy but being werewolf was like a scratch to her health.

With a smirk she threw out a comeback that made everyone shout in agreement

"Oh Eddy, am I still not forgiven for beating you up?"

"What happened?" She heard Marcus ask Ally in a whisper

"Oh! when Allan introduced Ed and Savanna, Ed made her life a living hell until Savanna just broke and beat him up. He didn't even know Savanna was the betas daughter" she laughed while Marcus could only smirk at Savanna's way

She knew a lot about Marcus' since she loved being with her father and watching him do his job. It made her feel pleased that one day her father would give her his title when he grows older so it made Savanna listen more for the mere future. Though she is still young she can't help but want her father to see how serious she is. After all- all she wanted was her father to be proud of her

Her thoughts were cut off when Marcus asked Ed if he was a sadist while Ed only snorted

"Hey guys we need more wood" Allan called out when Ed suddenly shouted
