The room went awfully quiet once Savanna raced herself out of the halls where she could get away from Alester but stopped at her tracks when every alpha stopped to look at her. Pretty much she was the only woman in the room- which made everything more awkward. As she looked at the big table- she saw Lucas who frowned at her, he stood in front pretty much explaining everything when he looked at her disheveled state

"Please sit Ms. Creed" he informed formally. As she hesitated, she walked- flinching when her heels clicked against the marbled floor while the room stayed silent, watching her until she awkwardly sat in front

Near Lucas

Suddenly the doors opened widely and Savanna didn't have to turn to know it was Alester. The way he apologized for his tardiness and Lucas who only glared at him

"Mr. Florence" Lucas gritted out making Savanna look up to see him annoyed. She understood though, Lucas hated being interrupted and surely hated people being late yet what surprised her was that he didn't give her the same expression when she was late

This dog.....

"As I was saying, we need your cooperation and your word for this. And if I ever catch you backing out, I will not hesitate to kill you" he yelled in that deep voice of his that always made her shiver but she only watched him until Alester opened his mouth

"What are we here Lucas? Why bring enemies together?" Alester hissed as he made contact to their enemy- the SilverGaze who also gave the same distaste at him

The alpha of SilverGaze then scoff "I do not follow such rules to a rogue! Your no longer a part of this community. Your kingdoms is long gone-"

"The elders have given their word and they allowed this meeting to happen. I came here for your help and warning, all of you" Savanna didn't know who this Lucas was, the way his body stood like a rock while he looked at every one of them as if he could kill them all so easily "we are dealing with something greater and I wish for partnership. To work together for the darkness is coming"

"You expect this bullshit?" Another alpha retorted making Lucas growl

"I wouldn't be wasting my breath for men like you Arthur" he snapped "I would rather be in the human world and watch you all burn in hell but we are talking about something more so I hope you all stop being a bitch and listen"

No one talked after that. And Lucas gave a grunt and continued. Hours have past and the continued to talk. Somwhere in the middle, Savanna had stop listening. All the things he said were the same

Yet everyone looked at Lucas like he had lost his marbles. Most of them where even refraining themselves from murdering each other. She even caught two alphas ready to shift but the guards and pretty much  some who agreed to Lucas stopped them before things got out of hand

Savanna literally thought having this meeting was stupid and no matter how much they could change their minds- alphas stood useless as fuck and wouldn't cooperate but this was not what annoyed her. No

It was someone's gaze who wouldn't leave her own

Savanna wasn't dumb or careless not to notice how Alester wouldn't stop looking at her. This had started hours and now she was beginning to get impatient. She hated people who openly stares at someone. It wasn't only rude and disrespectful, it was also plain awkward and crazy for him to not stop staring

"Goddess have mercy" she silently prayed for her answers but unfortunately it was no use.

With a huff she looked at Alester but not before her eyes passed Lucas who also had his eyes towards Alester with a frown.
