Such a foolish word that may bring you to your happiness or the road to losing your sanity

Yet she wouldn't call her bond with Lucas love, it was just near to it

The thought of the other who is always at the back of your mind. How Lucas would invade her thoughts when she wishes to be alone. This things were difficult to handle yet a part of her made her feel at ease

Call it a sense of stupidity but who would've thought a woman like her could actually want a man like him?

And then there's Alester. The man she should feel for. With her heart supposedly bound to him now broken, why did she still feel this energy? This pull?

Why was she in this mess anyway?

Questions and questions began to form into a one big gigantic ball of yarn and she couldn't help but feel tangled into it

Oh right. It's because two things happened today

One happened to be Lucas odd behavior and Alester's Awkward confession

And as she lay in her bed contemplating her day, she thought of the elders. Old ratted people she was forced to call her leaders. But at the same time, she felt gratitude for Alfeer who was generous enough not to behead her, Ulfrick? She really didn't care

A knock was heard and her head lifted to see Amanda who's hands were Holding a silver tray with various of cookies

"It's quite unexpected of you to be bringing cookies at night " she mused when Amanda walked in and chuckled at her response. Bringing the tray down to her bed, Savanna didn't hesitate to wriggle out of the way for her to sit took a bunch of cookies with different shapes

"Well, I was bored. Life without Raphael by my side makes time go slower so I thought I might bring cookies" she was chirpy

And it was suspicious

"So what brings you here?"

"Nothing I just thought....well"

"You miss him" Savanna stated and then there it was. The crumbling of her smile and the pools of her tears that barged through her blue eyes

Amanda nodded her head silently while Savanna brought both her arms up in invitation

She didn't need to be told again

A sob tore out of Ananda lips as she explained how much she missed him , how she wanted to hold Raphael and just smell him.

As Savanna looked, she never knew it was this serious. The pain of not being able to see your mate and may never see him until months broke her heart as Amanda cried harder

And all Savanna could do was hold her

"I really miss him" she had said finally after minutes of hugging. Savanna felt stiff and uneasy as they continuously talked about How busy Raphael is. And there were times he wouldn't answer her calls
