Chapter Fifteen

Sarah Woods

My biological father is actually pretty smart for planning on attacking us during mating season, while she wolves are in heat. I just hope heat doesn't hit me when he does attack since Mason and I accepted each other as mates, I'm going to hit heat soon. Our parents all walk in, the Betas and lead Warriors of the three packs are also present then Rose is the first to speak up.

"What's going on Mas?" She asks concerned for the sudden meeting, Mason tells them what he told us minutes ago and my dad along with Derek look pissed

"That scumbag" Dad growls out, Mom places her hand on his shoulder and he instantly relaxes a little
"We wanted to meet with you guys because we know this same thing happened to you guys 20 years ago and want you to help us come up with a plan" I say

They look at each other and I can tell they're communicating through mind link.
"We will obviously not hesitate to help you guys, we were going to regardless" Uncle Chad says
"20 years ago, we got attack out of no where. We told our warriors then to be prepared for that, even if their mates are in heat to fight" Derek says
"We even taught she wolves and kids how to protect themselves, maybe that's what we should do tomorrow" Rose says

"What if I hit heat?" I ask pausing, "I don't want to sit out, that man wants me and I want to fight this fight that is mine. I don't want to hide behind anyone, I'm the future Alpha of this pack and I don't want to come off as a scared girl because I'm not" I say, at the words 'future Alpha of this pack' I notice my Dad look at me in shock and pride.

Since my parents didn't have a son, I have the choice of either accepting the role that is usually for a male or giving it off to the Betas son, Cindy's older brother Brad. I wasn't ready to accept the title of Alpha of Redwood Pack but now I am and I won't let my pack down.

"Sarah, since you're part fairy I'm positive you'll hit heat next week not this week" Rose says, I lick my lips
"Are you sure?" I ask, she smiles a little nodding
"Yes honey, I'm sure" She says, I sigh nodding

"Sweetheart, did I hear you correctly? Did you say you're the future Alpha of this pack?" Dad asks, I look at him and my mom to see her smiling and he has hope filled in his eyes. He doesn't want anyone that is not a Woods to be Alpha of Redwood, even though I'm not his daughter via bloodline, I am a Woods, I am his daughter either way.

"Yeah" I say, he smiles
"Wait, but you're my mate, my Luna to Black Moon Pack. How's this going to work?" Mason asks
"Mas, you'll figure that out after we deal with her psycho father" Steve says making us laugh and Mason shrugs
"Alright as long as she doesn't leave me" He says, I smile at my adorable mate and kiss his cheek making him smile. My dad lets out a growl making me roll my eyes but Mason looks scared

"Dad, really?" I ask looking at him, he shrugs
"Sorry" He says, everyone laughs again
