"I can't fight this feeling any longer, and yet I'm still afraid to let it flow. What started out as a friendship has grown stronger. I only wish I had the strength to let it show. I tell myself that I can't hold out forever. I said there is no reason for my fear. 'Cause I feel so insecure when we're together, you give my life direction, you make everything so clear. And even as I wander, I'm keeping you in sight. You're a candle in the window on a cold, dark winter's night, and I'm getting closer than I ever thought I might. And I can't fight this feeling anymore. I've forgotten what I started fighting for. It's time to bring this ship into shore and throw away the oars forever."

"So, what's our next case?" Dean asked Sam. Sam didn't answer becase he fell asleep in the front seat. "Well I guess I'll keep driving to the next hotel." Dean thought to himself.

"You might want to keep driving to Orson, Indiana." Cas showed up in the back seat of the Impala. Dean jumped.

"You know, you might want to start giving me a warning when you're coming to visit. Maybe the next time I die, it'll be because you gave me a heart attack." Dean joked.

"I'm sorry. But there's been sort of a problem with the local people there. I've been thinking it's a demon." Cas explained.

"What do you mean? What happened?"

"Well, some people have gone missing, others killed. The police have found multiple sulfur spots. They can not identify where it came from. It sounds like our kind of thing, right?"

"Maybe. Let's just check and find out ourselves."

"Should I leave and meet you there?" Cas asked. "I can check on a few things ahead of time."

"No, that's ok. You can keep me company, Sam's out like a light. What'cha been up to upstairs lately?"

"You mean heaven?" Dean nodded. "I don't know. I still have angel radio turned off. I haven't been up there yet. I still don't want anything to do with them. They're manipulative, and controlling, and downright dicks, as you would put it."

"If you need any help, just ask. We're always here for you. You know that, right?"

"I do. Thank you."

"Where am I going? Can you give me some idea of where Indiana is?"

"Make a right onto the highway and stay on it until exit 37B. Make a right onto the exit, and then I'll tell you where to go."

"How do you know that Cas?"

"I haven't had much to do, so I looked up some things and studied maps. I know how to get anywhere from anywhere. What have you been doing lately? How are Benny and Kevin? Have you speaked to them recently?"

Dean thought for a moment. He hadn't talked to Benny in a while, but another hunter had gone after him. Dean wasn't sure if either one was dead or not. Kevin, on the other hand, had almost been killed by demons. His mother was stupid enough to hire a witch who turned on them, and let the demons know where they are. And again, Sam and Dean had to rescue them.

"How do you deal with demons? How do you get them to stop doing what they have been doing? What makes you think they won't come back for revenge if the Hell Gates are ever opened again?"

"I don't know if the Hell Gates will be opened again, but we'll do whatever we can to make sure it won't open. Kevin's translating the demon tablet, and Sam and I are doing whatever we can to help him. I'll teach you how to defend yourself if you have to. I wouldn't want you to get seriously hurt. Then you wouldn't be able to protect us." Dean smiled. He always needed Cas. Mostly to help them with a case, or to tell them anything he knows that would help them. He was like the hero in the movie that fixes everything when the other characters mess up.
