Rihanna made her way outside. Thankfully, no one was awake yet, and the morning sun had yet to warm the chilly air. She found a nearby bench and sat on it, then took out the apple pie wrap she had grabbed from the kitchen and began eating it.

Thinking back to when she had entered this school, she realized that many things were only becoming worse. She studied the massive building behind her, registering just how much she didn't belong here. Just like Joshua said, she needed to rethink. She needed to leave and find something better for herself.

Before more people get involved.

Before more people get hurt.

Charles walked over in his morning pajamas and leaned in front of her. "Morning sweet pie."

She looked up at him with disgust.

"Oh, you thought I was talking to you?" He asked. He grabbed Rihanna's head in his hands and pulled her face forward, then catching her of guard, he half kissed half licked the skin above her lips. "I was talking to the sweet pie over here."

It took Rihanna a second to grasp what happened. And the moment she did her body flared and she quickly pushed him away.

He landed on his bottom on the grass. "What the hell Charles?! You reek of smokes!"

This made him angry. She had no idea why it made him angry. Her reaction was a normal one and he should've known that.

Yet...the roles were manipulated now.

He straightened up and in a blink of an eye, he had her on her back on the benches seat.

"I own you now." He hissed. "Do you understand that?"

Rihanna pushed him harder this time, so hard that he ended up in a heap on the ground, his back hitting the cold grass so hard that pain was evident on his face.

She hovered over him, taking ahold of the collar of his shirt, grasping it and twisting it in her hand. "You never owned me. I don't care what you say to anyone, but I swear to you Charles if you don't leave me alone, I'll disappear for good this time."

She quickly straightened up and began running, but not a moment later he was running after her too, like he always did, and he tackled her to the ground again.

"Get off of me." She yelled.

He covered her mouth with his hand and ushered for her to keep quiet. "You don't want to wake up the neighbors now, do you."

She looked away, getting very uncomfortable. "Get off of me." She said more calmly this time. More serious.

"You're threatening me that you'd disappear? You really think I'd care?"

She snapped her eyes back to look into his. "You're so damn in love with me its sick, Charles. I hate it." She hissed at him.

He blinked at her. "There she is. The girl I know."

She growled and tried to push him off again.

"You want to threaten? Fine. Two can play at this game." He smirked. "Should I go and talk to Lexis?"

Rihanna cowardly relaxed back on the grass and gave up on fighting him, fear devouring her heart.

"Good. Now listen to me clearly. Find a way to stop sharing a dorm with a guy. I don't like it. You understand, don't you?"

She clenched her fists.

"And I'm going to find a way to enter that faith program. Its too bad that I don't get to see you often when I had come here especially for you."

Her nails dug into her skin.

"Oh, and one last thing." He stared into her eyes long enough to show her how serious he was. "Jessie Leone. I'm going to cut his throat."

Charles stood up and dusted his pants off, then calmly took a cigarette out of his pocket and lit it. He looked down at her again and in a quiet voice he said. "When this all ends, when you graduate from this hell hole. You and I are going to be together."

"Don't touch him." Rihanna breathed, closing her eyes."Don't touch Jessie."

It was quiet for a long time. She reopened her eyes and found Charles staring at her. His face filled with agitation. "You couldn't have possibly fallen in love with him. You don't do love. Never had and never will."

"He's different. I'v fallen for him the first moment I saw him."

Charles laughed, a laugh so hurt that Rihanna almost felt bad for saying what she did.

"You're lying. You never loved before. You never will either. I'm here, did you forget? You don't need anyone else."

She stood up and stared at him. "Leave Charles. I'm different now. I'm much more stronger than I ever was when you were around."

"Don't say that."

"I just did." She took a step away. "And Jessie is the only person I could ever feel for like this. Understand it and leave."

I love you
