The next day, Dean felt bad.

Dean shouldn't have touched Cas. Especially after he relaxed his wings a bit around him.

He and Sam were sitting at the table. Dean was drinking his fourth beer and Sam was on his laptop hard at work, researching everything about a witch's powers.

After Dean finished that beer, he went to grab another one.

"Really, Dean? It's not even eleven yet." Sam argued as Dean made his way to the kitchen. He grabbed another, and sat back down across from Sam.

"You should take it easy. We don't even know if we can control your powers yet, let alone activate them." Dean shrugged, and took another drink.

Dean ached to get drunk. Can I even do that anymore? He didn't care; he just wishes he hadn't hurt Cas' feelings. He didn't wanna feel bad.

Dean started giggling like a little girl. He made Castiel moan. He was still giggling when his beer was snatched out of his hand.

Dean stood up, and sarcastically said, "Okay, Sammy, haha. Now give it back."

"No, Dean you need to take this seriously."

"I'll just go get myself another one then." Dean started walking towards the kitchen.

"No, Dean."

Dean turned towards Sam.

BANG

The lightbulb on the lamp popped. They both jumped at the noise.

"Well, I guess strong emotions activate your powers then." Sam laughed.

Dean sighed.

"I'll get Cas here." Sam said, pulling out his phone.

"Uh, do you have to? I think he's mad at me. That's probably why he left yesterday." Dean pleaded.

"Dean, he's an angel. He knows more stuff than we do."

"Fine, whatever." Dean gave in.

A minute later, along with a flap of his wings, there he was. Dean looked, awestruck yet again by the beautiful wings. Cas' wings were spread out fully, but were quickly folded back in at the sight of Dean. Dean noticed they were a bit ruffled from the flight, and Cas blushed knowing Dean was staring at them. He tried to fix them, because he was very insecure about them, as most angels were.

Avoiding Dean, Cas asked Sam what happened.

Sam told Castiel what happened, and Sam noticed the tension between them. "We could test it," Sam suggested.

Both Cas and Dean stared at him.

Cas said, "Dangerous, but we could try."

"There is no getting rid of the powers until you die, so may as well practice and make use of them," Sam said. "I'll get some balloons."

Dean cursed Sam under his breath as he left them alone, but decided to apologize."Look, Cas. I'm sorry. I didn't know it had that effect on you. You can relax, I won't get near them again. I can tell your just dying to stretch them out."

Castiel looked him in the eye for the first time since he got there. "Thank you." Castiel smirked, and stretched his wings. Dean looked at him confused, then Sam walked in.

Cas' wings were almost touching Dean, and they were getting closer. Dean's breath hitched as those soft smooth wings he had touched before grazed his arm.

"So, I got some balloons-," Sam noticed Dean's awkward standing position. "You okay, Dean?" Sam asked worryingly.

Dean managed a yeah as Cas' feathers grazed up and down his arms towards his neck in slow gentle motions. Dean was suprised how aroused he was by this simple touch. He glanced at Cas, and that smirk was plastered on his face.

"So, Dean I'll put these balloons in a line, and you'll try and pop them like you popped the lightbulb."

Dean felt Cas' feathers pull away, and Dean looked at Cas wanting more, but Cas just shrugged and went to stand by Sam.

"Ok, I guess I'll try," Dean shot a glare to Castiel, then looked at the balloons.

Since Dean was mad at Sam when the lightbulb popped, he thought it would work to be mad at the balloons. He tried to concentrate and find a reason to be mad at the harmless three red balloons, but all he could think about was Cas. He let his mind drift to Castiel, and how his soft feathers felt against his skin.
