Winners of contests will be given prizes as stated in each contest and an exclusive award badge to place on your cover.
Enter contests by commenting a link to your story on the appropriate contest page and TAG your story #LitFicContest
Your piece should capture the essence of quality literary fiction or as indicated and follow the guidelines for each contest, i.e. word count, deadlines, theme, prompt, etc.
Community guidelines: please read one another's work, leave encouraging and constructive comments and reviews, and show support - we are looking for great community culture, it counts towards your own entries.
A single winner will be voted on and chosen by a secret panel of at least four Lit Fic team members plus an additional guest author from the network account (guest authors will be recruited and rotated, you can also volunteer and contact us for any specific contest you like)
For certain contests, two Honorable Mentions can be made and there may be an additional Most Popular mention. Most Popular is the highest amount of votes and comments on that piece - both add up.
