27-12-16Hello, boys and girl, how was 2016? Don't even get me started! Let's just say, life insurance companies aren't very happy. So pray that 2017 will hopefully get better and stop turning my CD's and DVD's into collectibles by default.
Moving on. This month's issue, the mag's theme is- yep, fairies! So I thought it would be nice to take a look at some famous winged chicks, and then move up the ante to the grandmama of all fairy tales, and by this I mean real life fairies. (You might be asking yourselves if 2016 was bad enough it made me crazy? My doctor said no).
Let's start with probably the most famous fairy of all: Tinkerbell.
TINKERBELL
Featured on Disney's classical animated film Peter Pan, this tiny, sweet and mischievous fairy, has been around for decades, bridging the gap between generations. She is a favorite among kids and grown ups alike. (Don't you agree some times she's just a thin line away from being real bitchy?Next, we move a little to the darker side version of what a fairy should be:
Sookie Stackhouse (that's not a nice name for a fairy)SOOKIE STACKHOUSE
Characterised by actress Anna Paquin, she plays the role of Sookie, a fairy that dwelves between the realms of vampires and humans, in HBO'S, awesome hit series True Blood.
But now, let's move up to the fairy big leagues. The very famous and notorious case of: The Cottingley Fairies.
