39 - Grace

"Damn it Grace just sit still already" Amelia growled at me as I turned to look at the time for the umpteenth time today.

"I can't. He should be here soon." I state excitedly. Today was exactly five months since Caden and I started dating. Amelia was now my Alpha with a pup on the way and I was her beta. Both our fathers were omegas now so we didn't have to worry about them anymore.

"There, done. And about time too." Amelia declares as she turns my chair to face the mirror. I couldn't help but stare at my reflection as I touched the soft curls of silver hair.

Amelia had done an amazing job on me, from the soft flowing cream dress   that hugged my curves, the silver heals that were studded with rhinestones, the natural make up that defined my pouty lips and eyes to the hair that was half up and half down full of soft curls and volume.

"Now what ever he has planned at least you'll be ready." She giggles and I  rolled my eyes. The first date Caden had taken me on his sister had done my hair to make me look like Elsa and I was taken by Caden to a cabin. It was rustic but warm and underneath the oak tree by the lake was a table for two set up with fairy lights. We watched the magic of The Run fade from the moon then headed inside where a fire roared.

We spent the night talking, kissing, roasting marshmallows. We fell asleep wrapped up in each others arms but he never did anything. We decided we would complete the mating when we got married, it made sense and it made me happy to know he would wait for me.

The door to my room opened and I smiled as Caden's reflection came into view as I looked at him in the mirror, his eyes meeting mine as love filled the emerald orbs.

"Hey Caden." Amelia greets, patting his shoulder.

"Hi Amelia." His voice sent shivers down my spine as I turned the chair and stood, slowly making my way towards him as I kiss his jaw, his arm snaking around my waist as his hand tilts my face towards him and he kisses me, my arms snaking around his neck.

For a few minutes we fight for dominance in the kiss, but I gave in and let him take control. His tongue danced with mine and I became lost in him.

"You look stunning Lady Silver." He whispers once we pull away, his thumb caressing my swollen lips.

"And you look incredible." My voice was a whisper and filled with longing. This man had made me fall hard and even though we said we would wait till marriage I was finding it hard not to completely mate with him. He was the only one I wanted.

"Well let's head out shall we." He whispers and I shiver with excitement. His lips graze min one more time before he takes my hand and leads me out of my room and through the pack house, wolves bowing with respect to us.

My pack had gained a lot of new wolves since everyone learned that I was the girlfriend to the Alpha King. I was as powerful as an Alpha and with Amelia's help I had been learning how to run a pack. She was always telling everyone how she was the sister to the next Alpha Queen and I couldn't stop it because she was so proud.

"So where are we going?" I ask as we leave the building and enter his cadillac.

"That is a surprise." He takes my hand in his and chucles, kissing my knuckle before turning his attention to the wheel and driving away.

The radio was playing softly and I sang along, smiling when the next song came on.

"She left without leavin' a number
Said she needed to clear her mind
He figured she'd gone back to Austin
'Cause she talked about it all the time." I sang, smiling as Caden took my hand and his eyes teared up at our song.

"It was almost a year before she called him up
Three rings and an answering machine is what she got -"

"If your callin' 'bout the car I sold it
If this is Tuesday night I'm bowlin'
If you've got somethin' to sell your wastin' your time, I'm not buyin'
If it's anybody else wait for the tone you know what to do
And P.S. if this is Austin I still love you" Caden continued the song and I couldn't help but listen to his voice continue on, remembering Amelia's wedding when this song, Austin by Blake Shelton, came on and we decided it as ours.

"Well this time she left her number
But not another word
When she waited by the phone on Sunday evening
And this is what he heard..." His eyes met mine and I smiled as I waited for the que as I took a deep breath.

"If your callin' 'bout my heart it's still yours
I should have listened to it a little more
Then it wouldn't have taken me so long
To know where I belong

Can't you tell this is Austin and I still love you

The car had stoped moving but all I could focus on was his face as he came closer and our lips met again for a sweet kiss. I was happy here.

"I love you Grace." He whispers when we pull away and I smile as I nuzzle our noses together.

"I love you too Caden.
