"HAPPY BIRTHDAY KOUSEI!!" three familiar voices screamed in his ear
"GAH. I THOUGHT WE WENT OVER THIS. No visiting at 3 in the morning!" Kousei yelled and turned over. But when he did, light was streaming in, blinding his eyes
"Stupid Kousei, it's 11:00!" Tsubaki said with a smile "Open your presents!"
Kousei looked around, but no boxes or wrappings or balloons were in sight. Puzzled, he look at his friends "Um, guys?" he said
"Right behind you idiot. And it cost a lot, so don't be shy to thank me, because I paid for most of it." Watari said
"Did not!" Tsubaki yelled
"GUYS." Kaori yelled "Let's just have a nice birthday party for Kousei, alright? Let's argue over money later and go out and eat something. And I'll pay." She said, catching Watari's frown

"Look at all the cherry blossoms!" Kaori exclaimed
Tsubaki frowned at the blossoms "Cherry blossoms always reminded me of death."
Kousei stared at her "Why?.."
Tsubaki gulped at him "Well, you see, we met Kaori last year in April, when the blossoms were full on bloom. And she almost, you know, died. And cherry blossoms do symbolize the shortness and life, so y'know, it kinda brings back bad memories."
Watari smirked "Looks like someone's been doing their research. C'mon, let's get something to eat I'm starving!"

I haven't been on here in months lol sorry! If you guys are still reading this then wow thanks. I really need ideas and april is already over so I kinda wasted my motivation for Your Lie In April by getting depressed over Kaori's death and wallowing in the silence. 😂 Well anyway, until next time!
