It's Easter Sunday. The day where most people go church to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus or just to get together with family and go Easter egg hunting. Or even both. But in all, it's a time, like most holidays, to spend time with loved ones.

That's precisely the reason why I'm getting my house ready for the Easter get together with the guys, Willa and Violet and their parents. I would spend this time with my family but they are all back at my old home. I'm especially looking forward to Jayce's date proposal to Willa. After the movie they played two days ago when they were at my house, Jayce stayed longer so I can tell him the idea I had.

He loved it. I told him I could help with the preparation of the proposal but he said he wants to do it because even though I came up with the idea, he wants to make sure the actual thing comes from his heart and not mine. So basically I don't know any of the clues he's putting. To make sure Willa doesn't notice him hiding the clues, he's coming early to hide them.

And as if on cue, the door bell rings. I walk over to the door and when I open it, I'm met with a nervous Jayce. When I look closer at him, he also seems a bit flustered. In his hand, he's holding a couple bags probably containing food he brought and the scavenger hunt things. Behind him, his parents walk up the driveway with their hands locked with each other.

I greet them all and let them in. After introducing myself and my parents, my parents and Jayce's parents immediately get engaged in a conversation heading to the living room. I help Jayce with his bags and set them on a table that's covered with a yellow table cloth.

"Th-thanks" he stutters.

I turn so my back is now facing the table. "You nervous?" I ask. He has nothing to worry about. For, Willa likes him back. But he doesn't know that. I want to cheer him up but it's hard to do so without telling him Willa returns his feelings.

Unlike me, he's lucky. He's got his feelings figured out. Whereas, I don't know where my feelings lay with Daniel. I know I'm not supposed to have these feelings because of his girlfriend. But I can't help it.

"Is it that noticeable?" He asks with a shaky voice. He huffs out a breath when he realized his voice answered for him. I walk over to him and put a comforting hand on his shoulder.

"You have no reason to be nervous" I try to assure him.

He shakes his head. "I have every right to be nervous El. If she says no, I'll not only be humiliated in front of you guys, but my parents and everyone else's". He exclaims. Although he has a valid point, I know that Willa won't say no. She said she liked him so I would think that's an automatic yes.

I drop my hand from his shoulder. "There's nothing wrong with being nervous Jayce. But, don't let it stop you". I say, giving him the look mothers always give their children when they know the advice given has had an affect on them.

While Jayce went to go hide the clues and eggs containing the words of the question, I continued to put up the decorations and setting the table outside. I glance at Jayce to see where he's going to hide the clues. After placing an egg and a clue, he looks at the next clue to make sure he puts it into the right place. And he does this until there are no more eggs or clues to be hidden.

I can't contain the excitement that's slowly building up. There's only a matter of time until it over flows.

Willa's POV

What am I going to wear? I need to look like I tried but didn't. If this was a normal school day, I would have just thrown over a gray crop top and dark jean shorts. If I wear that, you'll know that I had no idea what to wear that day. Or as I like to call it, "my no try day".
