School went by really slowly.

Austin and I hadn't talk since our morning chat.

I know he wants to talk though.

But he's been way to busy with Melanie.

But when school was over.

Austin approached me.

As I was leaving.

"Hey wait up" He said as he grabbed my arm.

I turned to him.

"Shouldn't you be with your girlfriend" I said.

He sighed.

"She has cheerleading" He said.

"Oh well" I replied.

Like I care about her stupid cheerleading crap.

He sighed again.

"Can I walk home with you?" He asked.

He actually wants to walk home with me.

Wow.

But it's probably only because he pities me.

He feels deeply sorry for me.

"Sure" I replied.

Then he smiled.

And we both walked out the door.

And began to walk to my house.

He was being really silent.

He wasn't even looking at me either.

We started to get further away from the school.

And that's when he decided to speak up.

"How long?" He asked.

I looked at him confused.

"What?" I asked.

He looked at me as we walked.

"How long have you been in love with me?" He asked.

I sighed.

"Ever since I met you" I replied.

"Why? Why did you fall in love with me?" He asked.

Well.

That's a really dumb question.

Isn't it pretty obvious?

I took a breath.

"Austin, you're the only one that gets me. That truly understands how I feel. And doesn't judge. And for that I love you" I said.

He sighed.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry I was such a jerk to you" He said.

I laughed.

I knew he only did this out of pity.

"It's fine now" I said.

"No it's not!" He yelled as he clenched his fists together.

He stopped walking.

I stopped walking too.

Then turned to him.

“Austin are you okay?” I asked.

He didn’t say anything.

He just stood there.

Then out of nowhere.

He grabbed me by the waist.

Then kissed me.
