"Argh...."

"Rose! Stop that now!" My mother spits, breathing fire.

"No, I don't wanna!!" I say, laughing my ass off. I mean it's so fun to act like a child. It's sad to know that I'm in my twenties, and I'm so immature.

"Last chance, Rose Lilac Gwendolyn." She says sternly.

I give in and hop off the dresser. The maids quickly debate on whether I should wear black or a blue gown.

They choose blue.

As you can see, this dress is just too much. I make a face at Mother and she just claps.

"Beautiful, just beautiful." She wipes a stray tear from her cheek.

I huff, and nod at the approving maids.

I sigh, and walk out of the room.

Whoomp!

"Ah, sorry Princess." Liam says.

I'm starting to think he does this on purpose.

"It's ok, Liam."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, positive, sì"

"Sì?"

"It means yes, doofus."

I walk away chuckling as walking to the great dining hall.

I see maids and walk up to a blond one.

"Hey, do me a favor." I say, bluntly.

"O-ok." She hesitates.

The other maids sneer at her, and I make a face to show my displeasure at them.

I walk off with the girl, wrapping my arm around her as we talk.

Timeskip to the time of the coronation.

3rd person POV

On the dance floor, we see hundreds of beautiful noble maidens and men dancing.

There was this one princess that particularly stood out from the rest. She wore a veil, and had silver hair.

Many nobles snickered till they realized whose party they were attending.

"Isn't that Princess Rose Gwendolyn? The prodigy?"

"Let's become close friends with her, maybe she'll hook us up with some princes"

A crowd of girls surrounded the princess and started chattering.

The princess just stood there, unspeaking.

The noble girl's just bit their lips and continued talking.

Rose's POV

"Ha, haha, hahahaha!" I laughed like a maniac and wiped a tear, "Those dumb birds!!"
