what is it like to be a girl of summers and blue denim, listening to mainstream pop with her head in the air and her heels dug into the earth? what does it feel like to have stolen the sun to slip into your hair? what does it feel like when nectar flows out of your mouth and trees make a home in your veins?
rolled up sleeves and that afro you liked to decorate with flowers, what is it like to be a girl of spring? what does it feel like to be reborn every year, among the flowers, among the swell of the earth? what does it feel like for the birds to sing of your name and the waters to part for your presence?
oversized sweaters, blushing cheeks, hair in a bun with the frosty air nipping at the nape of your neck, what is it like to be a girl of winter? what does it feel like to have glaciers in your eyes and the burning touch of cold in your fingertips?
what is it like to be a girl of autumn? what does it feel like to have ankle length boots, stepping on crunchy multi-coloured leaves that it looks like a splatter from an artist's palette? what does it feel like to slumber and heal?
