(A/N hi!! As you probably already know, things will happen in this chappie!! enjoy!)

Emmaline's POV

I sighed. I was still debating wether I give him a second chance or not. To those people who thinks I'm being stubborn: Have you ever tried being rejected by your mate? Have you ever tried being physically and emotionally abused by your supposedly family? Would you want to feel those pain again?

But then again, I want to feel loved by my mate and be with him until I die. Besides, we were destined to be together but he rejected me..

And we're back to the start.

These thoughts were circling in my mind. Maybe I could just give him a second chance? But what if I love him again and then he breaks my heart again. Maybe I could just not give him a second chance? But then I'll be a loner forever. Ugh!

"Hey, you done?" Ethan asked, sitting beside me.

We were sitting on the porch. The moon was shining a bright, silvery light.

"I can't decide. I keep going around in circles." I said honestly, looking up at the moon.

"Well, what about we flip a coin?" He suggested.

"Ok. If it's heads, I won't give you a second chance."

"Deal." He said, getting a gold coin out of his pocket.

"I'll flip it." I said, grabbing the coin from him and flipping it.

Very cliche how it landed on tails..

"Yes!" Ethan yelled as he fist pumped.

"You got lucky." I murmured.

"Well, let's go have dinner now."

I nodded, standing up and going to the dining room.

Inside, I found lit candles everywhere, lighting up the room. On top of the circular table was a white, silky cloth, round plates on each side, a tall candle on the middle and a rose.

"Oh, how romantic." I blurted out and I covered my mouth with my hand, blushing.

Ethan chuckled and pulled the wooden chair out for me to sit on.

"Thanks." I said awkwardly as I sat down.

He pulled his chair out and sat down. "So.." He started.

"When are we going home?" I asked.

"Tomorrow."

"Halloween!" I said excitedly.

Ethan chuckled and looked at me, amused at my childish act.

"What?" I snapped.

"Nothing." He smiled, getting out of his seat. "I'm going to get our food now. I just realised that we haven't eaten yet."

"Yeah. What's for dinner?"

"It's a surprise."

"Ugh. I hate surprises." I murmured.

A few minutes later, he arrived, holding a silver tray with.. Guess what?

Pizza! "Ooh! Yum!" I said excitedly.

"I knew you were gonna like it." He smiled, putting the tray on the table and sitting down on his seat.

I grabbed a cheesy slice that made my mouth water and stuffed it in my mouth. "This is delicious!" I moaned, giving him the thumbs up.

"Thanks. I made it." He said, amused.

"Dang. You should've cooked for the pack instead of your omegas. You would get a lot of compliments." I said with my mouth full. I know, I'm not acting very lady like but it's not like he'll care anyway.
